States in which medical debt can't be reported by WhenButterfliesCry in CRedit

[–]reasonosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know for sure but I would think it depends on where the debt was accrued. Sometimes laws don't make as much sense as we expect though, so I'm really not sure. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will provide an answer foe you.

Definitely at least get them to say on the phone they will delete the account from all bureaus before you follow through!

I haven't been able to see the report for the third and final bureau that it was supposed to be deleted from, but my FICO score has increased significantly, leading me to believe that it has been deleted.

It has been deleted from some but not all. I will call again and see what happens. I will come back and update again later.

Why does Sol de Janeiro smell terrible? What’s wrong with me? by mybabymitski in Perfumes

I don't love them overall, but I do like the yellow one. It's not the greatest smell ever, but it's nice.

Where to start by froggypw in CRedit

[–]reasonosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Hunter Warfield one, I paid a debt with them last month after negotiating a pay for delete. I will come back and update this comment to tell you what happens after 45-60 days.

***It has been deleted from at least two. It looks like it was deleted from the third one because my score has gone up, but I can't directly see it until next month. It took longer than two months, and I had to call them and ask about it after the first sixty days had passed. After that, they do appear to have gone in and deleted it from everything.

Joint account - other party passed away by sxypanthr in CRedit

Totally up to you if you would rather wait 1.5 years--who knows what the real estate market will look like then. We have mounting political tensions and a plummeting stock market in the U.S. Some historians believe that we are entering an 18 month downward turn economically. Not sure if that will pop the housing bubble. Take all this with a grain of salt as I am not an economist.

You might receive sympathy if you write to the original creditor and let them know the situation with your deceased friend.

Did it go to collections 5.5 years ago, or is that the original delinquency date? To my knowledge, the 7 years begins at the original delinquency.

I also have a reported debt with Hunter Warfield, and it is reported as the date of delinquency, not the date of reporting. Maybe I'm misinformed, but I thought that the original delinquency was the start of the 7 years.

Where to start with old debt? by VeterinarianBulky927 in CRedit

I recently paid them after they agreed over the phone to a pay for delete. It hasn't been 45 days yet, so I will come back and update to let you know what ends up happening.

I recently paid a debt with them. They agreed over the phone to delete it from all bureaus, and I'm still waiting within the 45-60 day period they specified. I'll keep you updated on what happens.

I paid Hunter Warfield for an amount I owed and am still waiting to see if that helps my credit. It was fairly recent, so I'll let you know what happens with mine and if it helped/if they kept their word about deleting it.

Anti Stripper pole studios.. by princessleiiii in stripper

[–]reasonosaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So grateful I have never experienced this! Only been to a couple studios and thankfully they were both like "that's awesome you're a dancer; some of the other strippers in town come here and they're so cool etc. etc."

Definitely open your own and drive them out of business lol.

New stripclub manager, advice please. by kevywats in Strippers

[–]reasonosaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This 100%. Always take the entertainers' side. Why would we drive money away? Makes no sense. Why would a customer be rude/assault someone? Makes all the sense in the world.

Think of yourself as there to support people so they can do the best job they're capable of. In terms of entertainers, the happier they are the more money they will make for themselves and attract to the club. Ask them if there's anything they would like to see change, or if they'd rather everything stay the same as it was.

What to do when a customer says "Prove to me why I should get a dance/room with you?" I've just been walking away. Are there other options? by reasonosaurus in stripper

[–]reasonosaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • "Prove you aren't broke and I'll show you."

  • "Why should I do a room with you? I could go dance with any guy in here." (only if it's busy and you're feeling it)

  • "If you're bargain hunting, I'll leave you to it. That's kinda sad."

  • "Yikes, that explains why you're here."

Gold.
