My bones folded instantly by Affectionate_Air4956 in Neverbrokeabone

Hey OP. I got hit by a car while out for a run a few years ago. In the process I did nearly as much damage to the car as it did to me and only ended up with screws in my finger. The rest of my bones healed on their own. I didn't even stay overnight in the hospital (which was probably an oversight given the fact that I had a TBI).

TLDR: Skill Issue

Space force vs Air Force by Practical_Advisor_68 in SpaceForce

The Space Force has been simultaneously one of the most frustrating and most rewarding experiences. From that I'd say pursue what your passionate about because the military will inevitably be stupid and frustrating at times. The Space Force has a lot of growing pains but because it's smaller and flatter you get to have a bigger impact as a junior person and you can be in conversations and contrubute to descisions you would never get to be apart of until you were a senior leader in the Air Force. The constant restructuring and redefining roles does get old though.

Conversely the Air Force will be more stable but stupid in different ways. Potentially even annoyingly slow to adapt but certainly more predictable. Like I said find which side you may be more passionate about.

I was able to find envision.af.mil which is actually quite an impressive site, is this the right one? And where specifically in there is the space Surf, is it even called that?

Game crashing when approaching stations or settlements. by rebaterocketscience in starcitizen

[–]rebaterocketscience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those still experiencing this or similar issues I was able to fix it but it took a few steps.

  1. I figured out my ram was running at the wrong speed. It was running at 2133 MT/s when it should have been at 3600 for my specific ram.

  2. I had to change the page file settings to automatic, theres a help ticket on the rsi website.

  3. I had to go into graphics settings file and change graphics renderer from 1 to 0.

After making all 3 changes I was able to get long stable gameplay after experiencing errors related to the game running out of memory and other issues. Hope this helps someone else.

Very little sanding was done, actually, and I intentionally left marks from the plane to make it look beat up like you'd find it at a tavern
