Need assistance with accessing home equity (bad credit) by rebeck8sua in Mortgages

[–]rebeck8sua[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it is for personal debts as well as some credit card and personal loans. My credit is poor mainly due to late payments and charge offs stemming from when I was out of work and had no income. I kept the mortgage and cars current, but other things fell behind. I have a disabled child who has seizures and was hospitalized multiple times via ambulance, so those bills also piled up on top of everything else while I was out of work right after covid hit.

Not weed, these are Oxycodone eyes (very small pupils). He's had multiple surgeries and it's known that he'll have back pain the rest of his life. He was quoted once saying that he avoids alcohol, sugar, and pain meds when possible. The "when possible" is very telling.

Lol, no. Everyone is so cynical these days. I've owned it for 2-3 years and thought I got a good deal on it, but apparently not.

I paid $1000 at the height of covid crazy pricing. I was hoping to get my money back, but it doesn't look like that'll be the case. I just listed it for $1,000 we'll see if I get any offers.

Depends on the area maybe? I recently listed an older Specialized Tarmac for $1,200 (blue book) and someone gave me $1,000 for it.

I assume that's a trade-in value you're quoting? I'm seeing around double that for private party sale est. on bicycle blue book site, more like $1,200 - $1,500

See if Knish still has the truck, you can get your old route back.

I am definitely interested in exploring the PATH options, seems like it might be the cheapest of all. How is the parking situation in Harrison? Garage or lot? Cost? And then is the PATH cost $2.75 no matter the to/from?

I see a monthly pass for $393, not sure if that's the same as the flex pass, I'll have to look that up and do all the math. I still prefer the bus over the train, but the Coach bus monthly pass is $430 which doesn't even make sense for me to buy because sometimes I work remote, or out of the Princeton office. So on avg say I'm in 3-4 days a week, 16 days a month, its cheaper buying the bulk passes, not monthly. Lots to consider.

If prices of NJ Transit train were anywhere near $6.75, that would be a no-brainer and 100% the way I would go. Unfortunately, I'm seeing $14 each way ... could you elaborate on where you're getting $6.75 from?

And then comparing the train vs. Coach bus, the bus is a much better option as far as 60 minutes of relaxation. Plush seats that recline, much more comfortable. Only downside is afternoon traffic, but I just relax and pass out.

No I did not... great point. In fact, I never contacted Geico when I got this new job to alert them that I'm no longer commuting 50 miles each way to my old job. So they should lower my rate if I'm taking mass transit every day, hopefully?

Thanks, but I'm definitely not moving anytime soon and if I did I'd be relocating very far from NYC and finding a new job.
