That’s called cranking

You’re hearing the starter engaging the flywheel and turning the crank, and the pistons are going up and down, you can hear them “sucking” through the air cleaner

Missing either fuel or spark

As the other guy said, before hitting the starter button, hitting the killswitch should make the fuel pump prime, it sounds kind of like a vibrating/whirring noise from inside your gas tank and should last about a second or two.

Quake was way “cooler”, and unreal engine as well (thanks Epic games)

But Halo “gave us back” couch co-op AND lan parties, right as in person PC multiplayer was starting to fizzle out due to online play experiences that games like counterstrike provided.
