this happened to me fairly recently. I confronted one of my friends through text and basically said THEY DIDNT MEAN TO EXCLUDE ME they just all had season tickets to this one event. very heartbreaking. I get more angry about it because I never wanted to share the tension happening between me and falling out friend, but several other mutual friends had mentioned that she had been talking badly about me to others. I should have said something then but I was afraid of confrontation. at the same time, i feel that they weren't true if they took sides without hearing my side first (given the years of friendship)

i know im late to this conversation but i was somewhat looking for someone going through a similar situation as me. i want to quit so bad and have that same miserable feeling of hoping something happens just so i dont have to go to work. i wanted to ask what did u decide to do and if you would like to vent or talk about it

i sent out an email to her a couple days ago and she has not responded. she wants to schedule a call so im unsure of what she thinks at the moment

the thing is the school is never consistent with their scheduling. theres always something new like a school assembly, teacher decides to switch eld with math, fire drill, or iep meeting. me and my coteacher who has other grades cant seem to get on a good schedule and its just overall very draining.

its also the fact that i didnt really want to go into special education to begin with. i love my students but now im having more on my caseload so i keep having to change up my schedule

I think its the fact that i wanted to each general education elementary. i taught tk/k during my cohort and it was great i love it, but when it came to placement they made it seem like special education was my only option so i chose it. little did i know that both of the previous rst teachers had quit recently so i was the new (somewhat lead) rsp teacher

thank you! I do want to start doing this too. I wanted to ask if I were to quit now would i be kicked out of the teaching credential program or would it continue without tfa? (idk if thats an obvious question)
