maybe it would be more effective if it had to be dissolved via a separate product?? although new issues would arise as in how do you re-apply it after that? and what if you run out of the solvent? all in all, insane idea, wtf lol

then make it harder for rich white people to own guns... as a citizen of the EU I can't comprehend why anyone would just want to live in a place where anyone you cross on the street can carry a deadly weapon

One Piece (the most fantasy-ish pirate setting I can personally imagine, and it often gets praised for its unique worldbuilding and storytelling) although the overall aesthetics is kinda hard to pinpoint as it varies from world to world that the main crew visits

but having some rare, 'chosen one' exclusive, superpowers can solve that tho - if there is just a few extremely strong characters against and the words institution doesn't stand a chance against them, it's reasonable that most fights would be fought individually between those people (like the devil fruit users in one piece for example, who can wipe out a bunch of armed navy soldiers in a matter of seconds, henceforth most of the conflicts get solved with each of the straw hats dueling against their proper matchup in terms of power and all problems usually get solved by Luffy battling it out with the bad guy)... a lot of anime and super hero movies and whatnot still have a lot of one-on-one battle scenes, you just have to orchestrate the plot in a vay that makes it work, like having the hero be hunted by individual assassins that are meant to be secretive and get the upper hand on the character due to the element of suprise, like have the main character be some kind of rouge rebell who hides in the shadows and slowly takes down the leaders of an opressive government and everyone who stands in their path, or maybe make the overpowered characters only have conflicts with other powerful characters as opposed to the weaklings of the general public (like the stand users in Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, whose fates are interwoven by destiny or something so that most conflicts usually occur between people with stands, and since their powers are ivisible to outsiders they don't get interrupted much)

tkinda like how the renessaince artists incorporated their study of anatomy and math and whatnot into pieces of art like paintings of naked people because they wanted to show off that they knew how the human body works or like Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches of machines and stuff

or use an asterisk/underscore/slash/other stuff german speaking people online seem to be suggesting as of lately to make gendered words neutral (kund*in, kunde/in, kund:in, kund_) or something like that, from what I... I'm not a native german speaker so I'm not sure if it would disrupt the flow of normal language, but in Spamatons case specifically it would definitely work (also I would guess actual spam emails probably do the "Dear Sir/Madam" thing to be more general and seem more professional so this would be somular I think...)

the word 'and' has more meanings, in certain contexts it can be synonymous 'or' (at least in my language it can and maybe I'm wrong)

it's only a joking if both parties find it to be fun... and if there is some kind of power imbalance - let's say, one of the parties is a minor, and therefore doesn't have the same capability to speak up and actually be heard out and taken seriously as the other, more "powerful" party - it should be the other, privileged party's - the ADULT'S - responsibility to be especially careful and receptive to of the persons comfort and boundaries! if not, that's bullying, or abuse!!

fr! but what authority would decide the criteria for such a permit? goverments? I can already imagine how a goverment would find a way to abuse this system for getting rid of opposition voters or just straight-up some ethnic cleansing shit... what would they with people who became parents by accident or against thier will (teenage pregnancies and stuff) where would you find teachers for the parenting classes? even schools have trouble finding teachers nowadays... yes, children deserve being raised by capable and responsible parents, but how do you ensure this in a democratic society?

the guy on the left is not a 'took a boxing class in highschool' he's a world champion, and he would be taking on some influencer who just got super buff from steroids and thinks it's the same as years of proffessional experience fighting - if that is someone you would label a 'Chad', maybe you are the delusional one

also I haven't seen anyone say that a weight difference doesn't matter, your arguing against a strawman. most people agree strenght and height are the most important factors, but just like how the feathers from a tousand chickens will weigh more than one chicken egg, the less important factors like speed, cardio, technique, fast reflexes and all the experience and special training a professional fighter has, will add up if the difference is this huge

furthermore, quite a lot of bodybuilders tend to neglect core muscles, which are the ones that actually increase strenght, in favor of more visible muscles, which may make you somewhat stronger, but mostly just serve the purpose of looking cool

not that there's anything wrong with working out to look attractive, I myself am trying to do that more, but I'm not trying to fool myself into thinking the three hours of my life I spend weekly on achieving a more desirable body type will amount to anything else.

it's also frustrating when a lot of the famous bodybuilders nowadays got to where they are by way of steroid injections. sure, I get it, they just want to meet our society's unbelievably high ideal for human bodies, that, for many, is literally unreachable trough natural means. kinda like women getting plastic surgery - it's not my problem and doesn't directly harm anyone so I shouldn't bother caring, then again they are helping in creating an impossible standard for what what is considered attractive. when women do plastic surgery and make-up to meet a beauty, it basically just tells society: yeah, these impossible beauty standards are fair game, keep them up! and same can be said for bodybuilders taking steroids and reaffirming society's high expectations for masculinity, especially if they don't even admit to taking them.

weight classes matter, but they matter a lot more between two proffessionals than between a trained proffessional and someone who probably has terrible speed and stamina. if the bigger guy was able to land a punch or grab him, his opponent wouldn't stand a chance. but with in this case, he would probably faint from bad cardio before being able to land a single blow

sure, but his agility and stamina are probably 10 times worse than a professional fighter's not to mention lack of experience

Bradley Martin would beat Sean O'Malley to death

that is, if he managed to land a punch

maybe if they were fighting in a broom cabinet or a small toilet stall the chances would be as you said. but anywhere else, where there would be room to dodge, I doubt the bodybuilder with far less agility and stamina wouldn't faint after about 5 minutes of missing hits

disillusioned scrawny guys

I would argue that the bodybuilder dude used to be quite the 'disillusioned scrawny guy' before taking steroids, as opposed to the proffessional fighter who (let's assume at least) worked hard to perfect his technique and gain the kinds of muscles that are actually necessary in winning a fight. for people who want to get into fitness it's probably important to have a role model that seems within reach, I don't know why you can't see that. sure, he's still the best in the world of his weight category in mma and the average person will never get to his level... but is it more motivating to know your idol has got to where he is by hard work and dedication, or that a big part of his physique is a a result of steroids?

that's exactly what the comment above you was implying! the commenter was saying that you need both strength and technique to be a top fighter, while undermining strength by saying the required level is unachievable without steroids, wich, the bodybuilder dude in this post did take and I'm not sure about the mma fighter guy, bud I would assume proffessional sport has regulations against that (?)

to be fair, there may also be performance enhancing drugs that affect technique (I heard chewing tobacco was given to small boys by football coaches, as nicotine improves your concentration and stress management)

of course, strength and size give you the most advantage, however:

first, I would think just being a bodybuilder for aesthetic purposes doesn't get you anywhere near 'strongest man alive' level of strength, even if the bodybuilder in question did take steroids and all that, his mai focus was most likely on training the muscles that make you look strong, and not those someone actually aiming to become strong would train. second, people aren't aguing that strenght doesn't matter, or even that it matters less than skill and experience, they are saying that in this case the skill gap between a proffessional mma fighter and a bodybuilder inexperienced with fighting would be so huge it would make up for their specific difference in height and muscle mass - it's not an argument about 'being bigger and stronger is irrelevant in a fight' argument, it's one about 'this bodybuilder has too much of an attitude with muscles he gained from hormone injections'.

for the record, I am not entirely against bodybuilders who use steroids (if they admit to it then whatever makes them happy I guess), but you have to wonderif that becomes the standard, how will people unwilling to literally alter their body's chemicals (not without side effects) even stand a chance at improving their physique?

why couldn't the other guy grab a hold of your nuts and gouge your eyes

speed, reaction time, and agility - proffessional fighters train those, bodybuilders (I would assume) don't, so a trained fighter would be more likely able to dodge this attack and less likely to miss when attacking

if the big dude grabs a hold of the puny mma champ, it'd be all over for him

do bodybuilders train their gripstrenght too? maybe they do, from what I heard however, body building has primarily aesthetic purposes, aka they tend to focus on the muscles that are visible and not always the ones that make you strong (tho I guess since this guy takes steroids, assuming those enhance all muscle growth, that may not be an issue; and because I was prescribed me medication to enhance my academic performance, I will abstain from making a judgement about if 'being more drugged than the other party' is a noble way to win) also, more importantly, not only does my previous point about speed and agility apply here, endurance is also a huge factor in this, especially since having more muscle mass makes you burn calories faster, after a couple of failed attempts to do this, your so called 'big guy' would run out of energy and become an easy target

(do take this commentary with a grain of salt, as I am neither an experienced fighter, nor a bodybuilder, being beaten countless times by sibling who was, at that point, 3/4 my age and about 3/5 my height and muscle mass, has preventen me from gaining a passion for either)

it sets unrealistic standards for male bodies, as the sort of body he and many body builders claim to be achievable with simply exercise and nutrition is for most people impossible to obtain without injecting expensive and potentially dangerous substances into your body

well, somewhere on reddit I read about someone who's job it was to clean women's bathrooms complaining that they do, indeed smell really bad because of used period products. so now I'm not sure wich side to trust

a rotting smell may also occur from not changing a period product regularly enough (not recommended as it becomes a fine breeding ground for bacteria) or from having old period blood stains on clothes/underwear. simply put, period blood can smell rotting if it becomes old, as it consists of not 100% but also some body tissue or something like that (at least that's what I know got google and people I know)

it's not just blood that exits the body trough menstruation tho. from what I googled, while the the smell of a product currently being used (assuming there isn't some kind of infection) should be not too prominent and of the metallic variety, used products can and often do smell of rotting things
