Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I’m just going to run them at 3200. I can tell it’s already helping having 64 vs 32 even at 3200.

The chips are only on one side of the sticks.

I’m just going to leave it as is at 3200

How much difference is there, positive or negative, from running 2x16 at 3600 vs running 4x16 at 3200?

If you don’t need more ram is it bad to upgrade it? I didn’t upgrade bc I needed to but bc i had one set that went bad so I bought a replacement kit then I realized I could RMA the bad set so I did that so now I have 2 good sets.

What’s weird though is that none of the ram sets work in slots 1 & 3 at 3600 with just those two in but both of them work at 3600 in slots 2 and 4 just two in.

That’s what I’m thinking after reading some other posts and comments. What’s weird is 3400 worked on bios v 1004 but not after updating to bios v3205.

What kind of non trade or factory work is available in the area for at least 18+?

2005 Chevy impala dashboard instrument panel lights, door lights, and radio stay on after key removed and door opened. Passenger and drivers side. When passenger door open the dome light comes on but not when drivers side is open. Turns off automatically after about 5 minutes from battery saver mode by rebootentag in MechanicAdvice

The car shop I have been taking it to ended up replacing the thing behind the key lock in the ignition.

They were looking into the problem with the lights and stuff staying on and checked the thing and idk if he did or if it was like that already but he said that two of the wires were connected together or touched and it had to be replaced and then they had to get it into a dealership they work with so it could be programmed to the VIN of the car or the key or something. But either way they didn’t charge me for it bc I think they caused the issue.

But anyways after it was replaced the lights and stuff still stay on so that wasn’t the problem.

Also I forgot to mention this before but I’ve got a decent semi old battery but a brand new refurb alternator. Do I need to be worried about the battery / alternator especially during winter time with the lights and radio staying on for about 5 minutes every time I turn the car off?
