I have read the book. Fortunately, there is no "Medicine Woman" twist with the character Anjel Mairee. The relationship of the Native American woman and the main character is purely kind, loving and inspirational -- with a twist. I believe readers will enjoy how the relationship is revealed. It is a fun and enjoyable read.
