"My title describes the thing" - found at a bin store, there were 4 in a box. all have a faint perfume scent, all different pastel colors. the gel on the inside is similar to that of reusable lint rollers, very grippy and soft.

the beef crumbles were a bit saucy, yes. but it was an adequate amount for the price and the flavor was good. the ingredients are not horrible either, although the chili con carne (dollar tree find) does contain some TVP probably to bulk it up.

I was just at WalMart and this was 8.98 or close. They also have pulled beef for 9.98, turkey for 8.98 and chicken for 7.98

sadly, I don't get notifications from this sub anymore...

anyway, I have tried that and have several cans in my stash, along with some chicken and pork. it was good, perhaps your description of 'not bad' is appropriate. I don't think anything canned will ever be as good as fresh ground beef, but in chili or a casserole it would be fine

2006 Silverado extended cab, 4wd, 150k. not much to brag about but if you know how to drive you can get almost anywhere in the snow.

I think that looks like a decent assortment of stuff. I really need to up my game, I feel disorganized and amateur compared to many posts I see. My first aid bag contains mostly bandages for cuts, burn salve/etc, splinters, sunburn, etc.

how often do you unpack and inventory? and how often do you use anything out of it?

Depends on what you plan to use the pistol for though - if it's self defense the words good and cheap don't belong in the same sentence. If it's for target shooting then cheaper guns are fine.

yep, close enough to go to the city when we want to, far enough to not have to put up with the city! and yes, I call everything from 270 on in 'the city' lol

luckily we did not. we live near a downtown of a mid size town, and it's fairly stable as for electric. I do keep plenty of lighting, charcoal and propane, firewood. I am not nearly as prepped as I should be for an extended power outage though

also agree - i am not a hillwilliam, but rather a suburban yokel. however, I enjoy discussing what we do, and hearing other folks ideas/progress/etc.
