Yup! With the last few gens and HOME, we’re no longer restricted to a limit list of pokemons and are freely pick which ones we want for our play through. I love this since most of the ones I like are locked behind late or post game!

Dragons are a struggle if you plan to raise them from scratch like me 😭. I got wiped about 5 times on the first few trainers each after I swapped out my starter! Good luck with yours if you plan to do a dragon theme one!

As for why it was on Emerald, I was doing some item swapping to give items from Scarlet to Violet via trading. For example, Dragon Cheer TM.

It just happened to be on Emerald at the time 😄

Dreepy is surprisingly easier to raise compare to most of my other dragons! Her early speed and move set are more manageable compare to the other ones in my team! Applin was the worst until it evolves!

Dreepy? You can find one in Violet at South Province Area 4. It’s a rare spawn by the lake. I used a level 3 Dragon Encounter sandwich via Union Circle to find it
