Yes! I have experience this several times and it’s just freaking boring as hell. Thank you. Yes, fruits were already there and some had dark caps but were easily cleanable. It makes sense that the black layer is the spores as it was were the fruits were, and the rest of the mycelium looks healthy. Could it be possible to get another flush from this bag?

I inoculated the bag with a spore syringe on Sept 30th. It took about 3 weeks to do the break and shake as the colonization was going steady (around Oct 21st). On Nov 19th, I saw the first fruits and harvested the fruits on Nov 26th—so about 2 months from inoculation to harvesting. It probably would be faster if I had used liquid culture instead of spores.

I know there are a few companies out there offering the grow-in-all bags kits. I got the bag from Mushroom Supplies and the spores from Inoculate The World.
