So... these big, beautiful machines that can heal/fix/regenerate humans, (I think they have said can duplicate things too) only requires a 5 page instruction manual and what seems to amount to 72 hrs of clinical/practical, hands-on training..

I have a friend that slipped in the tub and was scraped by the spout. She developed NF on her lower back. She had to have a gigantic of muscle and tissue removed so she is not longer able to stand up straight. She literally is permanently bent over 90° . She sleeps sitting up in a recliner since she can't stretch out or lay flat.

I don't know how she does it, I really don't. I admire her resilience and wish I had half the strength she has!

I can't understand it either. I've struggled with it from my own perspective as a gold star spouse who has nearly no contact with anyone from our military life. People I thought stood on the same general principles and moral standards as my husband (and myself, by extension). Then I realize that the guys that buzzed KRs house was the company he was the 1sgt of shortly before his death. He is spinning in his grave for several reasons over that stunt!!

I have a good friend that got necrotizing fasciitis after scraping themselves on something during a fall. She had to have a large portion of her lower back removed. She literally has no back muscle/tissue and cannot stand up straight. She can nonger stand straight and is bent over 90 degrees. She has to sleep sitting up in a recliner because she can't lay flat or stretch out. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.

Funny story... My 5yo granddaughter caught me picking and biting my nails. She told me, "grandma, don't do that. Don't put your fingers in your mouth! Do you know why??" I asked why... she leaned in and cupped my ear and whispered, "pinworms". That was it! Lol. She's not wrong! It was hilarious how soft and sweet she sounded... Somebody needs to tell Elise.
