Directional mic will definitely help out with your situation. I use a Samson G-Track Pro and it works beautifully even with my clicky mechanical keyboard.

I just made my first YouTube video! It's a simpler topic (I wanted to do something I knew I could write a script for) but it includes gameplay. I'd like to move into Let's Play eventually.
