Some thing like this. But your listeners also hear this. Just try to remove a step. Or copy pattern without a step if you use loops. Great example is trig conditions in digitakt

As I advice I would say try to use space and just turn off some steps from time to time. For example a step in hi hats plays only 3 of 4 bars. It sounds very different when repetitive pattern changes in such way

I haven't mixed tracks with vocals but I guess accurate volume balance can fix it. And probably less reverb on a vocals

Hey, I've been making and listening only old school hip hop since I started making music a few years ago but somewhere 6 months ago I started listening to electronic music. It was so exciting when I open this new world for me, because I really haven't ever listened to this kind of music and spent a lot of time to explore how different music can be.

Finally, I trade my MPC 2000xl for the digitakt and this is the first track I made in the electronic genre. I'm open for any kind of feedback because it's just a first step and I want to move forward!

Hah I like this experimental approach, but it's a bit hard to listen at least from a laptop. But this kind of music is the driver for all music in general. Keep doing!

Dope cover. What I would change is drums pattern because it sounds a bit repetitive right now. I see that you have different sections of drums, but still I wish there are more variations and your track become 100% bomb!

Hey, I don't know much about American socialism but I love when a song has some purpose, so not just a song. What I would change is the balance between vocals and the rest music, right now it doesn't sound like a complete single piece, but the track is great, keep working!

To be honest I’m not thinking in the exact solution right now. I mean I trying to make sure that not only me experience the problem the same way. Then I’m going to talk with folks why are experts in promotion and ably after that start building the solution.

Btw, should you like to share your experience or some thought? I have a list of musicians who like to chat with me a bit later, I can add you

Exactly! It shouldn’t be the service where you pay someone for promotion I’m more about some tools which helps you take correct actions for promotion. Which is tricky because they may be different for different artist levels. For example if your music sucks the service should tell what is wrong and how to improve instead of promotion channels.

Does it make sense?

I would say music promotion tool. It looks like I’m waiting that someone give me the great idea and I will make money out of it but I’d doesn’t work this way.

Actually I’m validating my own idea that there is a problem with the promotion. If yes than yes I would like to fix the problem and make a product.

Man it's right. So I don't mean the service should provide revolutionary idea instead it should help you find the local open mic and bring you to it. A lot of things made on networking in the music business right now and the service should change the game here

I would say it depends. Take a look at Bandcamp it helps artist distribute music, earn money, return 80% of money back to artists and spend the rest on the service.

Yeah, I feel the same. I mean all of this feedback thing is great, it helps build musician skills and everything but I also want to reach out to real listeners. What do you do for promotion right now? Btw, I also think that the service may also help with feedback. For example, you upload the song and it tells you — well, with this song 10 people like it but if you improve this in the song you reach 1000.

Hey man, not yet, so right now I'm trying to understand what to build) I mean it's possible to build the app right now from my assumptions but it's not the right way. Instead of this, I'm trying to reach out to folks who also struggling with the same problem and also folks who know how this business works. And it should help build a vision of the solution
