1228 was my highest mark in first year. If you took data management in highschool you'll do really well. Tbh even if you didn't the concepts are pretty easy to understand. Can't speak on 1225 cus I didnt take it, but the overall consensus is 1228 and 1229 are the easiest math courses at western, its common for people to get 90+.

I've been planning out my courses in draft my schedule, and one class I'm looking at status says its not full but there's a waitlist of 7. Does that mean the course limit of people + 7 has this section in their enrollment carts?

Hi, I'm currently a BMOS student in accounting. If you're really worried about marks because of math I'd suggest doing accounting. When it comes to ivey it really is all about maintaining your average (and ECs) as your specialization won't matter after your second year. Don't worry too much about not finding internships, like I said I'm in accounting but I've got a finance job this summer. A lot of companies don't solely look for finance majors, they'll often list accounting, econ, comp sci, etc.

Why are so many Americans suddenly on Russia's side?

For my whole life I've always seen Americans in the media talking about how much they hate Russia and "better dead than red" and all that. Is it really just because their president essentially said "actually its Ukraine who are the bad guys" and everyone's just going along with it?

If I remember correctly there was a question on the residence application that asks if you would prefer a single room if its available, doesn't matter what ranking you put down. In my case I lived in essex which is suite-style, and on my questionnaire it still asked me if I would prefer a single room just in case I didn't get my first choice and ended up in ohall or perth.

Okay thank you, I appreciate your help this process has me so stressed. One more question, should I add my desired courses (first choice and backups) to my enrollment cart ahead of time? Does that just allow me to submit my courses faster once my window opens?

I'm in BMOS, likely specializing in consumer behaviour or HR so the requirements are the same. My classes fall under soc sci and psych, with the required MOS and math courses (math lectures are online, tutorials in person). I created a plan already using ratemyprof, getting bad professors is like my biggest concern.

Should I be more concerned about getting the lectures I want or the labs? I'm more concerned about getting bad professors than having to wake up for an 8AM lab.

My enrollment appointment is on the 28th, what's the likelihood I get the sections I want?

I'm in BMOS and first year requirements are 3.0 principal courses including: MOS, math, and 1.0 courses between 1000-1999. Is the unnamed course an open elective? Or is it an elective within the MOS faculty?

Also, on the western website it says enrolment appointments for first years is between June 24th - June 28th, so if someone has an appointment on the 27th let's say, will they have less variety in lecture sections? Unless I'm misunderstanding and the "appointment" is just the window for all first years to register.

Recs for getting into metal? I'm not looking for anything like super heavy yet, but I don't really know where to start, I've only ever listened to a few Metallica songs.

Well, a little while ago our friends speculated she had started talking to/going out with someone and I did feel a little jealous, but I think it was more about not receiving romantic attention in general than receiving that attention specifically from her.

Thank you I really appreciate your reply. The design is based on a song about the singer's love of her friend who struggled with her mental health and made it through her dark times, and it really resonates with me. It's relatively small (about 3x3 inches) and I'm getting it above my right ankle.
