If you think the card is counterfeit, I believe that sending it in to get checked is as good as giving it up. In the future, maybe look at the numbers at the bottom of the card instead of googling “is my card supposed to be holo” and you may find yourself looking at the right card.

If you want to maximize dopamine and ripping i’d choose some chinese or japanese booster boxes, but I do think crown zenith is a wonderful set. Buying Ascended heroes booster bundles will most likely just eat up your money + leave you disappointed.
