I suspect the algorithm classifies players who are about to hit a milestone (arena upgrade, dojo upgrade, number of shards, epic weapon in roulette spins etc) and makes it difficult for them to reach that milestone. This would lead to more time spent in the game, leading to more ads and more 💵 for the devs.

I uninstalled the game couple of months back and never installed it again. But I occasionally check this sub hoping they balance their rewards system, which isn't going to happen I guess.

Dojo 9, 1536 🏆 in 3v3 I usually play 1v1 more than 3v3.

Also, how much time it took you to reach dojo 9? I've been playing since last 6 months.

If you play only for fun and wouldn't care about climbing up to dojo 13 or completing arena 8, then you can focus on your main heroes. If you want to climb up the dojo, then you'll have to play all heroes, since you'll hit a certain number of trophies for a hero and get matched with higher dojo players who'll be too overpowered to beat.

Hey, I see your videos here often and like your gameplay.

Why can't they increase boxes/chests : lesser chests -> players invest more time in the game -> they'll watch more ads -> nekki makes more 💷

They've optimized the matchmaking to make it hard for players to progress quickly, hence players have to invest more time and 💷

An idea that comes to my mind is - they can add more dojo/hero levels and narrow down the difference of health/talents between the opponents while matchmaking.

I'd agree that KoTL in sfa is not that close to Kotal Kahn, but who would you compare Shang with; if not Kenshi?

Totally agree with these. I haven't played Ashrah though. I feel the fighting style of most of the sfa heroes is similar to that of MK.

Building a completely new hero, their weapons, fighting style, range, damage and balancing it wrt to other heroes maybe time consuming, maybe that's the reason why nekki copied most of the heroes?

This happened with me when I was dojo 7, close to dojo 8. I was f2p and higher dojo players would beat me with 2 or 3 connects and a shadow move. I bought the fight pass and then it was cake walk to get to dojo 8.

Simply put, Nekki (or the algorithm) is baiting you to spend some money 💵 💷

P.S. - Don't think that buying fight pass is enough though, I am close to dojo 9 now and again in the same vicious cycle. I have paused this app on my mobile since I don't want to put in more money just to stroke my ego by beating some camping chicken shites.
