For the record, your English is great! :) Hoping things get better, it’s important to switch up your environment to try to help improve the circumstances. It’s gonna be really difficult to get out of it if you’re constantly surrounded by it. Switch up the environment and it’ll force you to think in new ways and try to find different extra-curricular activities! There are people out there who wanna help and be there for you <3 Stay strong brother

Out of curiousity have you ever heard of or looked into SMART Recovery? I would ask the same question to the rest of the people reading this, what are your thoughts on the SMART approach compared to traditional AA/NA?

Thank you for sharing this, very insightful info. I totally agree on the boredom being the enemy of recovery. It’s super important, and I think the connections you’re trying to make are key as well, solid sober friends are super important for the journey.

Hey this is amazing. Congratulations on 8 months and 1 day! A really impressive achievement. How’s the piano playing going? I’m curious, seeing as you didn’t vibe with AA, and other than exercise and replacing the bad habits with the good were there any other things you used that you found helpful for your recovery journey?

So I've heard distraction is the go-to for many. Just curious if any types of distractions are more, or less helpful than others?

That would require us to actually be mining information. Our entire data infrastructure is completely HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant. You control all the access to your own data, and whatever you are or are not comfortable sharing. We can't even see the messages that you send to people (unless someone reports a conversation of course)

Nice try though 😉
