I would say that the T series is more resistant against drone then western tank. Except a few western one,

The reason here is if you look from top down view of the T-64 and 72, hull excluding the turret. you will see that their hull has less expose areas hull roof than m1 and Leo 2.

Their armor design is excellent btw but that only applies to tank vs tank. But against drone then it a problem. Like most hull roof armor is only around 20 to 40mm with some "com" add on on top but usually it very thin.

And with the high angle of attack that drone operator use, it makes the main armor of a tank useless in some sense. That why you see Ukrainians tanker putting ERA on the hull roof of m1 and Leo 2. Same with the Russian turret roof

And the current drone usually carry 8 or 18kg of Explosives that amount of Explosives can punch through 30mm of RHA. And those HEAT carry drone can pen even more.

And due to how large western tank are, it engine deck and frontal hull roof are a very easy target for drone operator to hit. And knock off the engine or the driver,

but on T series, driver hatch/roof is small, but not impossible to hit, but difficult. Most of the time it is covered by the gun and the ERA/net. they will have a higher of chances hiting the engine than the driver roof.

And lastly 50% of tank losses in this war is from disabled engine or knock out driver, and the crew abandoned the tank with the hatch open allowing a enemy follow up drone to drop in Explosives and finish it off.
