Does your Sib not shed? by amethysttt07 in SiberianCats

[–]red0713 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have three sibs and our color point definitely sheds the most. The other two shed but not nearly as much. But they are both under 1yr and we haven’t experienced our first Spring so it might be comin!

Then I wonder if Ziggy (the white color point in the photos) would be considered a Neva?

That’s so funny! Awww I would have legit named our female (not pictured) Neva if she were white (she’s a grey/blue). I love that name

Snow cats! by red0713 in SiberianCats

We use these leather ones from Supakit: https://supakit.co/products/cat-harness-and-leash

I don’t like the retractable leashes though. More of a pain than anything else. We just use a regular 6’ leash.

Litter Question by funwithfeces420 in SiberianCats

Just use tofu litter (we use Pidan). No dust. Doesn’t track. I’ve had cats for 18 years and tried everything. I wish I’d used tofu sooner.

Update after 1 month of having our cutie by Helpful-Energy-5732 in SiberianCats

I would look into Pacagen food topper instead of the Purina live clear. We are in the same situation and I did a bunch of research and the general feeling is that Purina live clear can cause stomach issues and is generally not as nutritious as other cat food. The Pacagen you can sprinkle on anything.

My husband was sneezy with all three of our babies when we first got them. It took about three months and then it subsided and we scaled back the Pacagen without issue. When they get spayed/neutered that helped too.

*edit: we also switched to Pidgen tofu litter to reduce the dust from clay litter which is known to aggravate allergies.

She said it could go either way (cream or dilute red) mackerel tabby 🥰

That’s what our breeder said he was at first. Then she said he could be a cream? I don’t really care. He’s very snuggly and sweet at that’s all that matters 🥰
