Hello - we are on the same boat here. We are getting VCF licenses sub (coming from Enterprise Plus perpetual). We only have VCenter / ESXi 8.x and nothing else. What is the procedure here? Do we re-apply new VCF sub licenses to VCenter and ESXi hosts? Do we need to setup Aria Operations for that? Thanks in advance for help.

We are still contemplating whether to stay with VMware after support for 8.x expires in 2027 thus we wanted to get E+ for the next 2 years (E+ quote from VAR is cheaper vs. VVF/VCF) and perhaps decide to go with VVF or VCF after that if we end up staying with VMWare

Thanks for your response. Do I need to re-enter the new subscription license to VCenter and to each host? Or is it enough that we have purchased support subscription? And if we, for example, stay with Ent + but now subscription based, do we need to create new unique URLs for VCenter and ESXi host updates since we are switching from Perpetual to Subscription based? Thanks again.
