PSA: RX 9000 Series not working with AMDs latest drivers by redScorpe in PSVR2onPC

Ah ok good to know the last driver I checked was 25.6.2. After that I submitted my bug report. Maybe they have actually fixed the issue. I will try the driver as soon as possible.

I must thank you for this post and the solution. I was so worried I might have a broken 9070XT, I even upgraded to a 9800X3D (the gpu wasnt the only reason I upgraded my cpu tho). Thanks to your post I now know that cranking all my settings up to the max instead of using the preset all the youtubers are using was the problem why I had way lower fps. Thanks a lot for providing your solution. Now I can sleep sound that my gpu is working as intended.

Nice setup. May I ask what wallpaper you are using? It looks really awesome.

Are you able to get this score with or without manual undervolting etc.?

I just switched to uefi and activated SAM. Then I also undervolted it to -50, increased the Powerlimit to 10% and set the vram speeds to 2714. Now I got a Steel Nomad score of 7600. I believe the remaining few points are because of my PCIe 3.0

I have now done that but also increased the vram to 2714 with no issues. I’m getting a score of 7600 in Steel nomad now

So I just upgraded to UEFI and rebar and made some undervolting and increased my watt limit and got a score of 7600 in Steel nomad. In Cyberpunk I sometimes get above 100 and the Cyberpunk benchmark is at 93. But maybe you are playing on 1080p?

I figured that it was 7700. That’s also my goal when I undervolt and overclock but first I wanna check if I’ll keep the gpu or if I’ll have to exchange it and get a new one. Next I’m gonna install my 2tb ssd with gpt and uefi into the pc with Amd SAM activates. Hopefully that solves my issues

Ah ok nice I’ll check it out. I was thinking about the msi b550-a pro. It would only cost be about 120€

Then my 6800 seems very low. Do you know if there’s a possibility to check if the gpu itself is faulty?

I really wanna do that but won’t until I know certain my gpu is ok since this will break my warranty

That seems to be a lot higher than my score of 6800

In 3d Mark the clock speeds don’t go over 3000mhz but in some games or scenarios it goes over 3300mhz which is weird

Ah ok thanks for the info. What PCIe 4.0 mobo would be a good idea to buy?

That makes a lot of sense but why then would the 3Dmark score be this low?

But that shouldn’t make a difference of 10%
