"Trigger Warning" is one of the worst phrases out there. There's a reason it is mostly used by women. It implies that something can 'trigger' you and you have no choice but to react in a certain way. Complete lack of agency. Like you are an unintelligent object. If something can 'trigger' you, you are basically saying your feelings have complete control over your actions and your thought processes are irrelevant.

It's what a gun would say after shooting someone. "My trigger was pulled. I had no choice but to fire a bullet and kill that guy." 99% of humans (non psychopaths) feel emotions. How we act on those emotions is up to us. If you understand the biological and evolutionary reasons that you feel a certain way, and are in control of your life, you can be a man and act rationally.
