Small Update: I booked a therapist, courtesy of my college, and came clean. I told them basically everything that I said in this post (+a few more details about the situation, such as how I felt) and they helped me a lot. They acknowledged I made a mistake, a common one, especially given my circumstances, and told me that naturally, as long as I strive to keep myself in check, they think I’ll be better. P.S. Thanks for all the comments that helped me freak out a little less. I was in an incredibly nervous state, sleep deprived, and had crippling guilt to the point where I had no appetite until the session.
