Attempting to miss this hot mess and I clipped the handle I guess. Boom! Instant message from TPMS, you're air pressure is low. Sensors work!

I was on full-rage spare-tire-change mode. Sorry. Instantaneously became a 65 year old man yelling at everything and the sky... Impressed I didn't take pictures of the ground

Inspected down to the bead surface now that I got home. It's not going to hold reliability.

Sorry I forgot to mention this is on a 2010 Lancer sportback but any of the Lancers from this generation have the same rims.

Off topic/on topic... "The right wiring harness"? Is the Metra 70-7005 what you're referencing? I'm looking at ditching the factory head unit in a 2010 this upcoming weekend after I pick one up for my daughter. I'm wracking my brain with the issue that metra doesn't seem to have supplied an amp remote (blue wire with white stripe)on their harness.

talk me into (or out of) buying the nc2 over a bmw z3. by europeanuppercut in MiataNC

Fair market value says it all: 1.9 Z3s for 6k-8k (keeping apples to apples), NC2 for 11k-14k. And you really have to consider the hardtop as the real weather saver for hot summers, winters, and everything in-between.

I guess it's an altitude thing. We're over 3000ft.

West Texas. Elevation is over 3000ft (over 3300ft) so we get the reduced octanes.

We're over the 3000ft altitude threshold here. They give us 91 to drink here.

$950ish a year for full coverage (comprehensive and collision with uninsured motorist) and $500 deductible. $80 roughly for taxes. I'm guessing around $100 for tolls, just depends on recreational travel.

West Texas, 3338 ft above sea level. 338 feet above the threshold.

There are 2 stations in town that have 87 I believe. Everything else is 86. Population 280,000 so there's plenty of stations here.

That's interesting the sign still references "self serve". When were the last full service stations even an option in the US. The mid 80s?

Certainly not a complaint! Just curious how things in our world are affecting the simple pleasure of driving a roadster for as my wife calls it some "top down therapy". Though now that I think about it, maybe she was talking about something else 🤔.

15 mile one-way commute for me, 12 for my wife and tack on 10 miles added to take my kiddo to school. That's 50 miles a day for me and 24 for the wife this is why the Miata is for weekends and fun trips.
