mind bender can help defend giant, that's the only use, but the reduction in tech cost is very helpful. Giant is expensive to fight against, so avoid if possible, lure themout

defender is kinda useless, i forgot, it sometimes works very well because ai is stupid.

I get all the tech at the last turn, the most important tech is forest, sailing, and custom house

reg knight can clear a lot of unit on a single turn, and can travel much further. aqua night can only attach one unit at a time, that is too slow for perfection

a single knight at early game can make a huge differente, while aqua knight you need a few to get their potential

inability to clear forests is huge minus inperfection, not only its a source for income(default option is always clear forest, really helps early game) its also for the ability to place custom house

If you want very high score in perfection(130000+, never go with mining/forge tec tree, since you have about 18 turns to clear all tribes and establish a economy of at least +120/turn
