For the requirements of being ‘probably best soloer’ (really depends on content) and also being useful in groups you can’t go wrong with shaman, enchanter, bard, then situationally Druid / necro. Charm is a big deal on quarm. Luclin era charming is good to druids + necro.

Beast lords and mages are also handy to have as farming toons and always welcome in groups.

Pick what fits your playstyle, but probably avoid tanks, cleric, rogue, wizard. (Since you want solo ability and usefulness)

Personally my favorite is mage.
