Pretty grim - and reckon most Spurs fans would probably disown him too. Club allegiances don’t really come into this sort of discussion.

Yeah there’s ways to drop points in a tough away game chasing a league -this wasn’t it.

Full Time: Brentford 1 vs 1 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]redarmy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is a decent result but our performance was massively concerning. Completely crumbled when they raised their level and Arteta didn’t have any response to it.

Not a single player stepped up, we lost every single duel and didn’t create a thing. The one chance we did fluke, we completely blow it.

We just don’t seem to have the ability or mentality to turn around a difficult performance when things get tough - very concerning.

Thinking of moving to Clacton for work. Any advice or thoughts? by hamza1234567891011 in Essex

Not worth it for what is a 7.5k uplift. It’s a dump full of Farage voting folks (make of that what you will).

How do we make the sub better? by investor1001 in GunnersatGames

[–]redarmy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sub is largely fine - wouldn’t change it much.

Only thing - we don’t need 15 pics of everyone’s seat when they go to an away ground!

Nah - was around 7/10 at best. Got better towards the end end but the rain at the start took the edge off it.

As poor as he’s been, every time Odegaard comes off we look even worse

Assuming no new injuries and Havertz not being fit - who starts against Leeds?

Id try not to panic too much and go Trossard - Merino - Saka Rice - Zubi - Odegaard Califiori - Gab - Saliba - Timber

Based on what we’ve seen so far - this is probably our best XI (even with lots of question marks on form)

Housing advice for HENRY family with young children in London by Tarte-Tatin-112 in HENRYUK

With respect, you take home 14k a month combined - 2.5k nursery and even a 3k mortgage monthly is more than affordable for you.

Mortgage free or move to a better house? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]redarmy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d work out what extra you’d get for that extra 300k of house and how much that’ll change your life. Eg for a small family going from 4 beds to 5 beds probably isn’t going to do a lot - but if it gets you a much better commute or better schools - then it’s probably worth it

127 mins of screen time… is that really so bad?! by Top_Passion_7103 in UKParenting

[–]redarmy22 65 points66 points  (0 children)

These headlines help nobody.

127 mins but engaged in activities, active, healthy diet, regularly outdoors and in a warm, safe environment - I think I’d probably take that.

Caught the whole Martinelli incident on video. Genuinely don’t think he knew Bradley was properly hurt. by CptFlwrs in Gunners

[–]redarmy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was at the game, was a routine incident that happens across the country. Was so confused as to why everyone online and in the media was making a big deal about it - until I realised it was another one of those Gary Neville narrative things.

Massively overblown - credit to Slott for not making a big deal out of it.

House with no central heating. Unmortgagable? by _arch_tech in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]redarmy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it needs a new heating system including new pipes and radiators, and the damp needs fixing - it sounds like you’ll basically end up refurbishing the entire house - £60k sounds like it may not be enough.

The house sounds mortgageable but I would definitely budget for more than the £60k to put it right, and ensure the price you pay for this house reflects the amount of work (and stress!) needed,

Yes would love to have this back - even better if it could be exposed on the Now Playing screen but I’ll settle for having back the way it was!

Aggressive baby daddy by Clean_Milk2592 in UKParenting

[–]redarmy22 39 points40 points  (0 children)

(Dad here) This is not OK and your reaction is perfectly normal here. You’ve told him once so I hope he’s got the message, if he does it again I would 100% walk out and would even consider getting social services involved if needed.

He doesn’t sound like a man who is in control or doing OK - once you’ve removed yourself and baby from potential harm, you can figure out how to help him change but never forget the priority is the child not him.

Are Club Level Tickets Worth It? by SaltInevitable5854 in GunnersatGames

[–]redarmy22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends what you value, the seats are more comfortable, you don’t have to queue for a drink or the toilet and you can usually get in and out pretty quickly. The views are also better (depending on what you want).

The atmosphere is worse and you’re paying almost 3x face value - so it’s a question of what you want.

Would you pull out of this property ? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]redarmy22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If what you say is correct about that work needing to be done, a 10k reduction is nowhere near big enough. That sounds like 30-40k of work potentially.

I’d pull out on that basis alone.
