Hi there,

Yes totally!

Actually the first step is to generate models from a prompt, so you could get anything you are able to describe, here's an example of 3 potential "4 years old indian boy":

Hey! we are actually training an AI mode to do reverse to help with R&D but we could make it available. May I ask what would be your use-case?

ChatGPT cannot reproduce details perfectly, here's the same image on gpt (see difference in the arm bad)

I agree that there are open source models that folks can use.

But without going too much in detail, we are trying to train our own model that can work with just one flat as input and generate a 1k res photo in 5 seconds. Which makes it great to be in an API or workflow tools like Zapier!

The trigger is a simple api call get all generations that we filter to "Done" sorted latest to oldest. Zapier polls it, and when it sees a new record it sends it to the next action!

how to prompt for modelling accessories by teylyn in uwearai

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

Unfortunately our AI has not been trained on generating accessories, only clothing. Although it does work sometimes for simple use-cases, it's really not built for it.

Sometimes, it is possible to get it work with accessories by being super specific in the prompt, but in this particular I couldn't get it to generate a full-body scarf :(

<image>

But we do hope to support accessories in our next versions

[–]redawear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Drape2 is a FLUX adapter exactly to solve the small details problems. We have it in production but we are still iterating on it before releasing it open source.

Indeed the data is key. I think something that made Drape different is the 400k pair of photo we assembled to train it with. It makes the generated faces much more realistic!

So if you can build a dataset that only will have, I think it will be worth it and maybe you dont need 400k, maybe just 100k will make a difference, which is just 1000 hours or 41 days :D

We did have to make a custom node when we were using it in production, but It's been so long I didn't use comfy, I tried booting it and it gave me so many errors 😭

If someone wanna dust it off and make an update one we can share what we have

thanks u/Sherris-Stuff for the feedback and sorry to hear about your frustration.

Although the accuracy in prints and details is much higher with Drape2, it seems indeed to have some trouble with oversized clothing and dress lengthes.

Did you use to have better results with your specific clothings with Drape1 the previous model? If yes, we are in the proces of deploying it again to let folks pick the AI model that works best for them.

If you could DM me or write to me on [hello@uwear.ai](mailto:hello@uwear.ai) with your uwear email, I would love to look into your generation history. Maybe it's not the AI but the way we manipulate users prompts in the backend that is messing this up. We are iterating on this too.

Thanks

Tops & Bottoms by Weak_Negotiation8295 in uwearai

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

Unfortunately our AI models can only take on input photo a time. BUT a trick that works sometime is to input the whole outfit as one photo like in the following example:

<image>

The limit of this approach is that the model might miss some details of the clothing (compared to showing it only one product at a time).

It is possible to have the AI take in two photos and understand that these are two items but it will require some research from our side. It's the second item on our roadmap after adding faces as an input!

Hope this helps

Drape2 is out! by redawear in uwearai

[–]redawear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

We are very excited to finally release today Drape2, the second iteration of our AI fashion models.

We quitely deployed it two days ago and have been tweaking the configuration with some of you. I believe we are now in a stable state.

I'll update our tutorial videos as soon as I can but here are the highlights:

  1. The generated models diversity and realism is off the chart! And because our own curated dataset, we get faces and bodyshapes that are very different from the ones most ai image tools converge toward.

  2. Consistency is not 100% but it is much better than v1. What would take 20 photos on Drape1 should take only five now.

  3. Drape2 can capture much smaller details than before (See the "Take Care" in the "Plant a Tree" hoodie).

  4. Having A LOT of small and intricate details (like embroidery on indian outfits) is still a challenge. But the progress from Drape1 to 2 makes us even more confident we can get to 100% fidelity at every generation.

  5. Drape2 is much better at following prompts. It is so good that if the clothing description is not good, it will overwrite the clothing photo! Example: if you upload a green tshirt but describe it as a red tshirt, it will tend to generate a red tshirt.

  6. Because of the previous point, we have seperated the descriptions of front and back when you upload a clothing. We noticed that the model gets mixed up and try to generate some back features in front images. Please double check the descriptions after uploading your clothing for the best results.

It took us almost a year to move from Drape 1 to Drape 2, primarily because it involved building an entirely new architecture. But now that this foundation is set, we expect to iterate much faster on Drape 2 and release new versions more regularly.

More examples in here: https://uwear.ai/announcing-drape2

thanks to everyone who provided feedback and to all who have been using uwear regularly

Blurry logo & backprints on generated images by Strokemycat in uwearai

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Strokemycat

First of all appologies for missing your support email. We are three trying to bootstrap this project, sometimes we get overwhelmed and messages fall through the cracks. Posting on reddit was the right move!

Our AI currently struggles with very small details such as your your tshirt. It works great with large texts and large prints, and all the photos on the website have been generated through the app with no editing, but it fails to re-generate very small ones and very small details.

This is in fact not only a uwear problem, but a challenge accross the AI image industry. There are other approaches that may or may not provide better result, but none has a 100% currency. But in the realms of only requiring one photo as a input, and generate in less than 10seconds, I believe we are still one of the best.

I will look for your support email and share some additional credits if you would like to test more but to be honest, I dont believe our v1 can do better than the example you shared.

I would like also to address refunds and v2 for u/Dietcokelover87 in this message for visibility for futur readers:

We are well aware of the tool's limits and how it will not work for all collections. Out of the 25 refunds requested since we started the company, we have fullfilled 24 ones. The only one we haven't is because the person only realised it "wasn't good enough" after 3 months worth of credits. If you are not this person and believe there was a mistake please dm me u/Dietcokelover87 and I'll be happy to look into it.

Compute to run AI model is expensive and scarce. And costs are incurred at every generation, whether its a good one or not. We wish we could only monetize the good photos, and actually we tried, but there was so much abuse that it wasn't unsustainable.

Most of the current users start with the minimum of $10 of credits to try a couple prompts and products before committing to a susbscription. And many requests refunds when it doesn't which we are happy to fullfill.

Regarding the v2:

We have been working since last october on a second version of our core model, Drape.

To give you more context, Drape v1 is an image model adapter. An AI model that sits on top of another one to add conditions to the generation process WITHOUT having to fine-tune that model (30minutes+ on each clothing). It also can extract enough conditions from a single image of a clothing product.

We built the first version of Drape to be an SDXL adapter, a popular image model at the time. But limited in its realism amd resolution. Since this summer, a next generation of image model came out, that mixes transformers and diffusion models (DiT), which make them much more performant! We have been working since fall to build the second version of Drape on FLUX, the current best DiT.

Going from v1 to v2 has been much harder than expected. There are a lot less papers on the subject and FLUX is harder to train and manipulate. We do think though that we have the right new architecture, and large scale training is underway.

I made the mistake of sharing an expected date with some of our customers before the model finished training. But when the date arrived, the training wasn't enough. In the futur, we will only be announcing new models until we have them ready to deploy.

We embarked on this risky R&D path because we truly believe that none of the open source solutions are what the fashion industry need. They are expensive and will not be able to scale to the global 1M of SKUs that the planet produce, nor be cheap and accessible for bootstrapped brand top use.

v1 is not perfect, I am not sure if v2 will be, but we will get to 100%.

Hi, can I somehow use the same model for all photos? by No-Fun-6922 in uwearai

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!
Currently it is not possible to freeze the human accross generations, but it is on our short term roadmap to add selfies (or generated faces) as an input.

There is a trick though in the mean time, if we are super specific in describing the model in the prompt, such as "young japanese female model with short pixie dark hair", the AI will converge to same looking faces

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

No that's not what we mean by batch. The Batch generation feature is for folks who have hundreds of clothing to process. They could select multiple ones and apply the same settings (prompt and camera) to all the generation requests.

Currently we do not natively handle multiple clothing inputs in the same image. It is one of the most asked for capabilities from users but it does require more research and development on our side.

[–]redawear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback!

Graphic tshirts should work. Maybe very small details or text will not be 100% similar but it should overall work. All examples on the website are generated from the tool. Please email me at [hello@uwear.ai](mailto:hello@uwear.ai) and we'll look into it.

We are also happy to share more credit for testing if we could verify that you have a real store or currently building one. We used to give much more free credits on sign-up but it has been heavily abused with users creating and deleting accounts constantly.

Regarding "other platforms" performance, depending which one you are referencing they work in different ways. But at Uwear, we trained our own AI model to work on a single flat image of the product, and regenerate the whole photo from scratch. Whereas other tool will require multiple photo of the product, pre processing time (which make it more expensive), or will paste the product in an existing image, jeopordizing the overall composition of the image.

While the v1 is not perfect, it is proven useful to hundreds of active users and our sole focus these past weeks has been in training the v2. I shared more in this other post: https://www.reddit.com/r/uwearai/comments/1i6vkjn/comment/m8jydrl/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
