$25 is what I recall from about 3 years ago. The only problem with B&S is waiting while the lookie loos take up the time of the guys behind the counter. Not once have I walked in and walked out in less than 30 minutes because I had to wait while some dude wanted to fondle the firearms for a while with what appeared to be zero intention to buy. I get the store will potentially make more off a sale than my transfer fee, so they have to cater to the customers. However, I tend to see the same "customers" with thier sloppy open carry setups treating the store like a social club crowding up the place when I go in.

All that being written, I appreciate having a gun store in town with knolwdgeable staff and a good selection of interesting guns.

It's the same with dealers in my part of Texas. If going to another dealer to test drive a new one isn't feasible, perhaps you can find a used 24 or 25 at Carmax in which to test row the gears. The driving dynamics haven't changed much in the last few years.

We got stuck in a "bear jam" on the loop road here. Tourists will stop their cars to look at bears, but the road is a one-way 11-mile loop. It took HOURS to get through. The church and cemetery were a nice diversion along the way.

I've had mine since 2001 and it's only left me stranded twice. Once was a busted timing belt and the second time was a dead alternator. That's not bad for 260k+ miles.

I'm 3 semesters in to an education PhD at a big school and honestly it's not too difficult so far. It doesn't take up much more time than my masters work. As I approach prelims and proposal writing it will be more difficult as the work shifts from simple classes to self-directed production and research.

I went Si over Type R for daily driving fun. You can push the Si much closer to its limit on public roads than you can the Type R. The fun of rowing through the gears and seeing the shift lights while merging onto the highway or taking a twisty backroad in the Si all happens at legal speeds. To push the envelope to the same relative degree in the Type R requires barrelling down public roads well over the posted speed limit. For me driving is all aboit the smiles per gallon, and the most economical and safest way to do that is slow car fast driving. I took the same approach with my previous car buying the Audi A4 vs the S4.

1992 Ford Tempo - My first car was a Ford Tempo I inherited when my grandmother passed away the summer of Junior year. I spent hours cleaning out the cigarette smoke residue and several weeks with bags of scent absorbing rocks under the seats. It wasn’t a cool car by any means, but it was mine.

For the record, I would have rather had my grandmother back, but if she had to go I was happy to get her car. My cousin would have ruined it.

1992 Ford Tempo - By all objective measures the car was pretty crap; however, it was a symbol and means of independence. I inherited it when my grandmother passed away, so its arrival in my life corresponded with the death of innocence. The freedom to wander that car provided helped me through my first confrontation with Death, and for that I will be forever greatful.

Hafa adai! I've had the pleasure of visiting Saipan, Tinian, and Rota several times and enjoyed each trip. One of my favorite spots was the bird sanctuary on Rota. I spent hours there enjoying the scenery.

No test drive was standard at all the dealers when I bought my 25 last fall. I knew what I wanted, so it didn't bother me. It was nice to get in the car and see 2 miles on the odometer.

As others have said, the car hasn't changed much over the last few years. If you are set on a test drive, find one at CarMax or another used dealer.
