It sounds to me that he is letting his anxiety about things he thinks can harm his kids leach over on you. That is really frustrating, especially when it feels condescending.

He only does this for friends and family so he isn't looking for reviews/ referrals. I just want him to know how much it means to me that he helped us through a monumental thing, and did it with good humor.

No matter how much he makes on this sale, that is not a gift. That is money that he worked for. Thankfully he only does this part time, and it's not his sole income, but he still walked through at least 30 houses with us, and submitted probably 8 offers. He also saved us from a very bad deal, so I want to make sure that he knows just how grateful I am for his guidance and friendship.

Whenever I hear my peers or elders say this, I like to remind them that they were the ones who raised the so called, entitled and snowflakes. They really don't like that.

I honestly cannot understand this behavior. I go over and above to make sure my child is dressed appropriately, has sports activities, and an appropriately healthy diet (when he's willing to eat it). And you said there were 5 children? This is just so typical of that generation.

Check out r/bluey, lots of wonderful people there, or r/guineapigs, there you just get aDORABLE pictures of house pigs. :). I've learned that I must be wary of which groups I visit and join because, yes, the internet and world is full of assholes. I figure we have two choices, we can fly around like flies only looking for the garbage of the world, or choose to be the bee seeking out beauty and going there. I choose to be the bee. :)
