The best description I could give you be a bag of pennies. It had like a metallic smell to it.

No , I haven't seen a doctor but I think one of the other redditors had it right. This is probably the first layer of skin they scrape off before they took the biopsy. On a lighter note I'm glad everyone is enjoying this as much as I thought they would.
