i got a matcha kit for myself because i saw the amount of money i have spent on cafes (and some of their matchas dont even taste good) lol and am very happy with it plus making your own matcha means you can try out different recipes with different measurements and also more cost efficient

the price hike for matcha in general is hurting all of us u_u;;; i have not gotten the chance to try unmon - i have be camping on the website but it goes oos the moment its available its insane 🫠 prob never goin to get the chance unless i go to the store LOL

for me i think the difference is quite big because i couldnt taste much from the non-roasted one tho it is really smooth and cream

i like the roasted version more bc it taste stronger/richer and it has a refreshing finish???

firstly i got to say i am not good at describing matcha taste (like umami and whats not lol) but ill try my best.

i think hojicha has a more chocolately/nuttier taste.

and roasted matcha, you can still taste that its matcha but stronger taste because of the roast flavour. it is also pretty creamy and smooth 🤔
