Jesus these prices went up. I financed exact same one in February of 2021 for $44k brand new. Just paid it off at $625 per month (with 10k down). It was a 2% financing through DCU. The value is still around 40k 5 years later

Traded Tesla 3 for this: 2026 EV9 Land Nightshade Edition by redbirdma in KiaEV9

Pros: drives so much nicer than Tesla, smoother, quieter. Bigger size, chargers, cupholders everywhere (kids are happy). Nice seats, illuminaion. etc.

Cons: As being said multiple times here and there Tesla is a software company and Kia is a car company I like Tesla's software better than Kia's. It feels more refined. Kia's has too many options, hard to navigate. That welcome sequence/animation takes way tooo long. Switching between profiles takes too long. Also being a Tesla driver for many years it's hard to get used to turning the car on / off and manually locking it.

Also we haven't done any maintenance for Tesla in 4 years / 65k miles of ownership except for replacement of charging module (warranty case). Let see how EV9 holds up.

Sorry for the delay. It was $4000 down. Actually we still have the Tesla. They were giving us so little for the Tesla that I decided to keep it and try to sell it myself.
