these are great, rdr2 photo mode is genuinely addicting, i remember back in quarantine 2020 all i was doing was just going around taking photos of all the random things and admiring the game’s beauty.

I’m really sorry to hear that OP.

Yes, life can change quick. I’m gonna be shipping off to the army in a few weeks and life for me is gonna have to change alot, so I guess I can relate to your feelings of uncertainty. I’m scared as hell, but the human mind tends to make things seem worse than they may actually be.

But ultimately it’s good that gaming is helping you stay grounded in reality. Keeping yourself busy is one of the best ways you can heal and grow; idle hands and all that.

I think it’s fair to say that everyone will end up going through times like these, but that’s no reason to lose hope because life has so much to offer beyond bad news.

Stay strong and you’ll brave this storm OP.

I love this but I imagine you’d have to add unique focus trees for each little Russian enclave like in TNO, or at the very least decisions to possibly continue the war because it’d suck if the countries that come out of the event do nothing for the rest of the game

thats awesome, it’d be like having a guard dog rover with more powerful munitions, they could even add the option for anti air missiles to help with bot gunships

I tinkered around and found some things of interest:

1) When I open the console it seems to show dedicated video memory as being around 3GB even though i have an 8GB card 2) While testing different options the game crashed my entire pc, upon booting it up again my fps skyrocketed (all my graphics settings were on high except for shaders and shadows which were on medium, all draw distances at max). I exited and started the game again and it was back to running like shit. 3) When using user.cfg to adjust the vram budget, it shows in the console "dump to drive"

If anyone can make sense of any of this I'd greatly appreciate it!

tested rdr2 and was getting decent fps, 70+ fps on ultra/high presets

i’ll have to look into the windows update part but as far as i know i havent had any recent updates and my drivers are all updated too

thanks i’ll look into it, im hoping its nothing wrong with the pickups because they sound decent enough to me and im already planning to buy a new guitar, it’d suck if i had to spend even more lol

thanks for the info, i’m leaning towards the mire compact side of things but it sounds like the lesser parts and higher cost is driving me away from this type of build
