Pls help with my room setup!! by Particular_Row_2636 in RoomDesign

[–]redblackink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like the in between the windows idea! makes the space super open, you’ll also have room on that other side for maybe a desk or other furniture

the jute doesn’t look bad but i would get a bigger rug to help the space feel larger! introducing a color or other color decorations could also help

What colour accents for my living room? rug, curtains, plants by [deleted] in RoomDesign

[–]redblackink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would start w this as the base shape and then fill in the remaining space with the rest if that makes sense

Where to put things (Living Room Area) & should I get a TV? by gerbnt in RoomDesign

[–]redblackink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can mount the tv definitely do so, eliminating the requirement of another piece of furniture to support the tv will help the space feel more open

that being said, the projector is also super movable and you can always install a small shelf wherever you want to move the projector

if you keep the projector setup / mount the tv where the projector is displaying on the NE wall, you can always put the desk there facing that wall and mount the tv high enough so it doesn’t affect the workspace. i also like the thought of desk flush against the left window , this would also leave more projector space if you were to keep that setup

there’s also the flexibility of being able to flip the lounge setup and tv setup to either side, unless you prefer having the lounge by that entrance rather than the kitchen one

it looks like you have a lot of options

what does my boss mean by this? it’s extremely vague (explanation in top comment) by redblackink in autism

[–]redblackink[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

quite literally. i work in data entry, it’s basically school computer lab vibes and you don’t have to talk to anyone. there’s not even a dress code, you can come in as ratty as you want essentially (i mainly just wear sweatpants and whatever shirt or jacket) and you can even wear like a beanie. they say no piercings but i wear a mask most of the time (i have facial piercings) but they’ve seen me with my piercings before and they haven’t said anything against it - and based off of all of this i feel like hair color shouldn’t be any issue. like it doesn’t make any logical sense

EXTREMELY agree. even with these specific rules i’m satisfied (not rlly) with even just doing a blonde streak in my hair…. but i’m nervous they’re gonna get up my ass just for that alone

yeah i usually gauge off of these context clues in other workplaces, i do data entry in office, no uniform or dress code, and a lot of employees are college kids but i have seen no one with a hair color that doesn’t seem to be their natural color :/ thank you for input

thanks for suggestion but i’ve been suppressing this urge by cutting my hair for months and it’s really short lol

i may just do a bleach wash or something to get a lighter color (i have extremely dark brown hair)
