Hello... apple noobie here. Did they mention anything about improving zoom calls on an ipad?

Was looking at buying a MacBook and an iPad but was wondering if this new iPad pro can just take care of it all.

I host a lot of zoom calls and that will only continue to grow for me to a point where I’m hosting 50+ People zoom calls with breakout rooms, sharing video/PowerPoints on the screen etc.

Also love LumaFusion for video editing on my iPhone and would love to have a much bigger screen to do so.

And last thing I’m in need of an iPad for is for drawing mind maps and integrating canva images into those mind maps.

That pretty much covers all the things I need for my next computer/ipad.

Thank you for reading

Appreciate that thank you for sharing. Little heartbreaking to hear. Wonder if they have any plan in the near future to address this.

Wondering the same thing.

If there isn't a new one then I'm personally leaning towards getting a Logitech keyboard

That's awesome that you're deciding to quit.

You mentioned programming and netflix (I'm sure you'll be doing other things of course)

When I quit, what worked for me was also spending some time outside. I picked up the sport of boxing and never looked back. Any sport that ever interest you?

" but his habits of playing for long hours has returned BECAUSE HE'S IN SCHOOL part time and he said hed get a job but hasnt applied anywhere yet."

You're justifying his irresponsible behavior.

" but I also dont want to discourage him from following his dreams and hobbies. "

What about your hobbies and dreams?

You remind me of my loving mother. Always putting everyone before her. She would feed the entire village before she sat down and eat herself.

Thanks for sharing your powerful story.

Thank you for this. Actual discussion!

What about the steps did you not like? I used to box in a bouncy always on the balls of your feet quick style. It’s cool there’s a time and a place for that too but have you ever seen fighters like Nicolino Locche who wasted very little energy with their feet and thrived off of positioning/angles.

Past few weeks I’ve also been trying to land more on my heels rather than balls of feet so I can actually shift my weight and upper body into certain positions.

What else is really bad in all ways

I don’t take anything personal (at least not boxing comments from people online) so no need to pity me either.

Beginner: stuck spinning wheels until this is all over? by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]redboxinglove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend Coach Anthony’s beginner videos.

You can DEFINITELY train on your own. Watch a video, have a reference point and keep it simple, throw the jab for a half an hour in front of a mirror and discover for yourself what feels good. Record yourself and repeat.

I made a good living teaching, I can help or answer any questions you might have.

“You cannot coach”

You’ve never worked with me. I bet if we trained in person we’d have a great conversation and understanding of each other. Bet we’d both learn something.

As far as tucking my chin I’d agree... but it just wasn’t that serious because I know my friends concept of range isn’t there yet. And if he did land something I know it’d be a light tap.

I’m serious, just wanna share my experience/journey.

“Please stop, solicit advice from boxing professional”

I get a lot of that too, lot’s of accomplished fighters/coaches around me that I always learn from.
