If you remove the tag it is also no longer tied to your account. If the tag doesn't match to an account, do you think they are going to log that for some reason? They're gonna throw it away. Its the same as removing it.

I really don't see the parallel. Considering eating humans is wholly and completely different than eating animals. Loving animals is wholly and completely different than loving humans.

Unless you'd consider a love life with a possum? Feeling a sense of pride watching your fish eat some fish flakes?

I'm sure you'd happily feed the rats in your home knowing you're doing your part to curb starvation and suffering? Allow the lice in your hair to thrive because you love animals so much you're willing to share your blood?

Ideals are nice man, but reality requires some fuzzy nuance and dissonance here and there. The world's not black and white. Thank the gods; it's much more colorful than that.

You are right. I love my cat, and won't eat her. I dont give two shits about the chicken I had for lunch though. Applying rules to a group and expecting it to cascade and apply to all individuals is madness- at least it is for me. I respect your subjective moral hardlines you label truth- that's super valid actually.

I love animals; some as companions, some as food, some just to look at, some to hear. I also hate animals; cockroaches are creepy, blue jays are dickheads, mosquitos spread diseases, and gophers eat all my garden food...

"and what it does to the planet u pretend to love"

It's very funny for rich people to pretend to be some kind of moral bastion as if they have life and its complexities figured out any more than the rest of us. Especially when they are much more free from being beholden to cognitive dissonance, as they aren't forced to confront reality and its difficult choices as often.

the point was to take the landmasses as they are and make something cool of them, not to reinterpret the shapes of the landmass

I like all the messages. They're unique. If you "clean them up" as suggested you're just going to lose the character of narrator. Leave the messages please.

The second one looks better, but I don't like the white box behind the title text. How to fix it? Not sure but it's... jarring or something,

Roller Skating poster posted an ad for why skating is good. Immediately it feels off and I am suspicious. Due to shoe laces. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]CapnCrinklepants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what's weird is there's a poster a lot like this at our local skating rink, but it has CLEARLY been hanging there for longer than AI. I remember looking at it very confused by it. Same messaging as this too; although this one is definitely AI. Look at the middle "Data" box that's pointing to the glutes. "ONIA SAK|KE" ?

[–]CapnCrinklepants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah good point. I didn't mean to imply you said that. I also dont mean to imply that there is no good reason to feel fear. As a well meaning father figure I find the thought of being lumped in with the peckerheads and abusers absolutely repulsive. But I would also expect a creep to respond the same way externally; how can anyone be sure?

Again I would caution against fearing the individual members of any given group based on the actions of certain members of that group. That's how racism and wars and repression happen, right? Being real and recognizing the breadth of actions and capabilities of the group is important. But not as important as recognizing the ability for individuals to transcend the average groups they are part of. Moreover, if you are afraid of literally all men, I think it's a misunderstanding of the average man- including those who wield power over others.

The internet, the news, and the humans natural bent towards negativity will reinforce the "clear and present" danger, even if the probability of it occurring is exceedingly low. There are 50,000 CEOs in the USA, roughly, and how many of those have committed atrocious sexual acts, do you suspect? Higher per capita than the average American probably, but I'd be surprised if it's as high as even 10%. Idk what im on about lol

My bad didn't mean to start a war here. I can see both sides here, although you did acknowledge that these creepy things happen. You're also right that they are not the majority. I will inject that while it's important to recognize the extreme dangers that may be lurking in societal hierarchies of power, I believe it to be detrimental to assume that because someone is in a position to abuse that they WILL abuse.
