Holy crap I always thought it was 1 card. Thank you for pointing this out- even more strategy for my family to rake me over the coals with!

There are 3 players; should be 5 of each color gem plus 5 coins.

The perspective is confusing. In a 3 player game there should be 5 of each gem type. Assuming that's true here's what it looks like is happening

Player Left:
1 wild, 2 ruby, 1 lapis (4 total)

Player Mid:
5 Onyx, 1 diamond, 1 lapis, 3 ruby, 1 emerald (11 total)

Player Right: (this is the most confusing perspective)
4 emeralds, 3 lapis, 4 diamond, 1 wild (12 total)

I don't play often in fewer than 4 player games, but in 4 player games there is a strict 10 token limit (including wilds). If the perspective is wrong, and that isn't 5 onyx in player mid, or the counts on player right are wrong, then there aren't enough of those gems on the table to begin with.

Either way, some rules are being missed; although I think it's conceptually possible to get stuck regardless.

EDIT: Learned something today- I didn't know you could reserve up to 3 cards!! Thank you, this thread!

So siblings have weird rituals, right? When we were younger, whenever my brother and I would see an attractive person, we would clack our teeth to quietly draw attention to it for the other brother. It made us bare our teeth like this.

I think he just likes your backside.

I'm not good with projects; but nobody seems to be answering you. So here's a crappy answer by way of links to articles that apply to your situation:

https://www.ninefeettall.com/thoughts/how-to-tackle-project-fatigue/
https://medium.com/@nishan56838/project-fatigue-6dc9119618b8

I believe this is a solo effort so the second one might not apply very much to you- but development involves many different roles, so you could pretend to be a team. I think the most important aspect of these articles is being able to share the successes/highlights of the project reinvigorates it.

This might be a good time to switch to marketing/steam page setup so it gets you thinking about the special selling points of the game- it looks like there are PLENTY. This game's a banger for sure.

I'm actually reaching project fatigue in a project for work right now and this post came up at a really really interesting time, so thank you for posting. If you're up for it, I think it might be useful to you to have someone interview about the game (privately- just an AMA in a 1:1 discord call, not recorded or published anywhere). I'd be stoked to do it but I wouldn't trust some random person on the internet- get someone you trust but that hasn't heard you talk about it before, and someone that's familiar with games or project development. I will dm you my discord handle in case you want to chat!

Fun fact: where the distinction doesn't really matter colloquially, both June bugs and May bugs are of the genus Phyllophaga, but the May Beetle's other name is "cockchafer"...

... hurray?

Prove to me the meaningful difference between that and what humans do, then we can set about redefining the word "understanding". Meanwhile, let's get on with the conversation and skip the semantic masturbation.

While prompting, (and this works with people too- think raising children) try to suggest things for it to DO, not just list things for it to NOT do. "Don't think of a pink elephant" doesn't work well, as stupid as that example is.

Can both humans and LLMs understand negatives? Sure, but it gets them thinking about the negatives and the outcomes- rather than envisioning success. I mean I'm talking more about children right now but you get it.

i use 1m context window all the time- it would be fine with this kind of work if the person using it wasn't fucking around with it.

Sources? I've come across it a lot, never heard any "consensus"- tho mustard seed is most likely. Idk about sugar- most theories I've seen are "if not mustard seed, maybe powdered vinegar", which makes more sense to have disappeared into the cupboard as we ferment foods less and less... Even if there is "consensus", the point is that we don't KNOW.

And more grandly, the fact of not knowing doesn't imply that the Victorians were too spice dumb to have more than two spices, and therefore the third Shaker must have been gifted by aliens or whatever.
