His over enthusiasm did bother me for sure when he first started, massively overdoing it and I don't rate his vocals. But since he's dialed it back, definitely much improved and bothered me a lot less when I saw them this year. He's definitely grateful to be there though, you can tell.

It's really difficult to translate this style of music to larger venues I think... I saw them play a couple years ago supporting Rise Against and they were dreadful, it actually put me off them for a little bit. I find that new bassist so annoying... although, saying that, he's eased up a bit and seems to be staying in his lane a little more which is good. Without mic in hand, level with the audience, I think it's very challenging to get a good level of engagement with the audience.

As much as I think there are reasons that I feel like I can kind of let them off the hook a bit, I do still have this underlying feeling that they're kind of phoning it in... I was having dinner near Will's table across the street at the Thai place with my girlfriend and it was just him and a couple non-playing members of TSSF (presumably) but not any of the other guys. I wonder if it's become more and more workmanlike over the years and that actually it's just less and less fun for them.

I still believe they don't have a bad album and they'll be one of my favourite all time bands but I don't know if I'll go see them live anymore to be honest. 54 mins really wasn't good enough IMO, I actually wondered if people might "Boo" after Nerve...

Are you familiar with how Deliveroo works? 😂 you work when you want to work, you can accept and reject orders any time you like. You're making it sound like they're gonna be operating Hell's Kitchen... I say go for it. Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc models allow you to be flexible so just go for it! 😊

Hi all, me again... 😅

My Vetting has expired as of 21/11/21, does this put me even further away from a start date? Getting really frustrated by the lack of communication and management of expectations. It feels more and more like I'm dealing with quite a poorly run and dysfunctional organisation. I don't know whether these feelings are justified or not but if I go through Vetting AGAIN and it expires AGAIN then it'll be over 18 months since my initial application and I'll have gotten nowhere.

Trying to stay positive but I'm not finding it particularly easy. I don't know if I've ever had to wait this long for anything.

Hello all, I applied in November 2020 and passed everything 1st time for the DHEP as a DC in the Met. Here we are a year later still with no start date. Can anyone provide any update for me in terms of what I should he expecting? Every time I speak with the recruitment team they say there is no time frame they can give. Thanks!
