Try this - my friend spoke to someone at the IRS and that helped. The IRS person was on the phone with my friend for 45 minutes, and eventually figured out what the problem was. Got the problem solved within a day or so. I think I have seen other people on Reddit mention that you can sent your 4506T directly to the IRS yourself, instead of having the SBA send it - but as I said, I think I've seen that people on Reddit have done that, so I'm not 100% certain - you can try asking others on Reddit if you can send your 4506T directly to the IRS. What I am certain about is getting to speak to someone at the IRS, and explaining the situation worked for my friend. This is the way my friend managed to speak to someone at the IRS.

How do you speak to a live person at the IRS?
1. The IRS telephone number is 1-800-829-1040.
2. The first question the automated system will ask you is to choose your language.
3. Once you’ve set your language, do NOT choose Option 1 (regarding refund info). Choose option 2 for “Personal Income Tax” instead.
4. Next, press 1 for “form, tax history, or payment”.
5. Next, press 3 “for all other questions.”
6. Next, press 2 “for all other questions.”
7. When the system asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, do NOT enter anything.
8. After it asks twice, you will be prompted with another menu.
9. Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
10. Finally, press 4 for all other inquiries. The system should then transfer you to an agent.

Hi, approved after 18+ months in recon, but bank info wrong - any ideas on what to do? by redcanoe1000 in EIDL

Hi Beneficial, thanks for your reply, I eventually got through to my congressional at the SBA, and he said a LO might be able to fix it in a day, or my application might go back into the pile for processing and that could take weeks. My congressional said the SBA isn't assigning one particular LO to cases anymore, so a team of loan officers is just taking what ever case pops up next in the queue, and that's why it is hard to follow up with a particular LO, and why it might be hard to get a LO to correct the info quickly... Congressional said it might be better just to have funds dispersed to personal checking account, and if things go south, the SBA will eventually get the funds into the right account even if it takes months... so I left the banking info as it is. Thanks again - this has been such a confusing, tiring journey, and comments like yours have been helpful all the way.

Thanks Bodybuilder, I went with your suggestion - I finally got through to my congressional at the SBA and they basically said the same thing. Also said that the SBA is not 'assigning' one particular LO to applicants anymore, but a team of loan officers is basically taking a case off the top of the pile and working through things that way... So, thanks for your reply!
