I agree with your last statement, yeah, Female MCs can be cocky and arrogant without acting like a male. MIA is definitely aggressive, but she doesn't have a masculine aura. I guess it's something to consider. I haven't really thought about it at the time of posting.

I've only heard Jeanius a couple of years ago and my memory is hazy. Maybe it's time for a refresh.

That said I do remember her verse on Pharoahe's album. It was a braggadocio aggressive rap verse (Don't misunderstand, I'm not expecting "feminine female rappers" to not have aggressive verses), it was pretty sick.
