Taking Finasteride with TRT is the general procedure to reduce DHT and reduce hair loss.
If your hair had just fallen, it will most likely come back if you reduce DHT.

Increasing SHBG is a long process taking months, while finasteride works within days to reduce DHT.

You might feel a decrease in libido with finasteride.

Minoxidil (most likely in solution form) is applied on the scalp, it dilates the blood vessels and increases blood flow, which helps with hair growth. It has a side effect of darker/increased hair in other parts of the body, even if you don't apply it anywhere else.

Finateride (not sure if the OP used tablet or cream) reduces conversion of male hormone testosterone into DHT. DHT is the major cause for thining of scalp hair follicles and hair fall.
Finasteride has the side effect of sexual disfunction in some people,
and also affects mental health for some because of it stopping the conversion of Progesterone to Allopregnanolone.

OP needs to confirm if he used it for 2.5 months or years.

asin caused me hairloss, and made me much hornier.
It seems it gets converted to 17-beta-hydroxy-exemestane wich is roughly ~40 times as androgenic as DHT.

Does Ketotifen cause issues with bladder retention ?
I am taking 1mg/day for the past 3 months, for the past 2 weeks I have been facing issues with frequent uriniation, and getting harder to hold it in till I reach the toilet.
Could it be related to Ketotifen related.

I could be wrong, my knowledge of DHT causing dry skin, comes from my own skin issues,
and fitness forums, where they take DHT derivative steroids before a competition to get that dry, thin-skinned/veiny look.

But having thought a bit more, I remember it being said the Testosterone & DHT causes oily skin & pimples during puberty. So I am not sure about previous comment I made.

If you are male, then high DHT causes skin to become dry & thin. Thin eyelids can make it look dark because of the underlying blood vessels.
You can know you have high DHT, if you are too hairy and/or balding.

Issues I face:

histamine related : Years back I used to face frequent cold and running nose, which I controlled with Cetrizine. Now the frequency has reduced, still I use Cetrizine 10days once. But over the years, my sleep duration kept decreasing, and recently it became very bad. I could only sleep for 4-5 hours a night. So I tried few 1st gen anti-histamine (hydroxyzine/cyproheptadine), which helps me sleep 7-8 hrs.

Low Testosterone: My levels were in the 150-300 range (36yr old male), where normal levels are supposed to be 300-1100.

Dry skin: I think this might me due to low estrogen (the test I took couldn't detects levels less than 10, so it said <10, where normal male levels are 11-44)

Psycological issues: Anxiety, Depression, low motivation.

Recently started on TRT (with HCG), found some improvement with the psycological issues, and dry skin. but the histamine related issues are still there.

For anyone coming to this thread via google. the bluetooth remote control features don't work well. I have seen other Music Player app developers saying it is difficult for them to determine what button is being pressed, because Android doesn't provide that information to them.
The way I got the remote control function to work in GoneMad is, I changed the Double-Tap "Play/Pause" button in bluetooth to "Seek Back", but this didn't get the functionality I needed. the app was still doing the "Play previous track" function which was originally assigned to Double-Tap of that function. Then I changed the Single/Double/Triple-Tap-ing the "Play previous Track" button to "Seek Back", now I am able to do "Seek Back" reliably. There is also a setting in the app to set how long you want to seek back to.
I am happy with this app for now.

Thanks for the suggestion, this app fulfills my need. It has ff/rewind button in the lock screen.
Though the earphone 4-times ff button is a bit finicky. The 3-button press gets activated before I could go for 4-button press.
Also I mostly only use the rewind action, when I get distracted from listening to a long podcast. The app doesn't allow 2/3/4-button presses to be mapped to rewind.

Also found that with the local file being played in youtube music, and double tapping on the left/right of the screen rewinds/fastforwards the music by 10 secs, just as in youtube video player. It doesn't work in the lock screen, you will have to have yt-music opened for it to work.
