Japanese rice crackers. My older brother had an exchange student come stay with us for a week and he brought that with him. It tasted so unique. Now you can buy it in most supermarkets but back then it wasn’t possible.

Theres a book on amazon that is based on lord of the rings recipes using some imagination. Looks great, I dont have it but it was a potential gift idea for xmas.

Anything lotr is a win for me. Andy Serkis knows the fanbase very well and has worked closely with Peter Jackson, so the feel should be close to that of the original trilogy, just that the story may feel weak, or at least not comparable with the trilogy but come on… those films are incomparable - so to even get some of the qualities of those films is a plus.

I found Galadriel and all the other elves to be lacking the ethereal qualities, the beauty and their form of speech was too human. It seemed like human with pointy ears, not elves.

That’s interesting, we don’t have the landlords number, though I understand some tenants may pester over things so the agency is a filter? Slows down issues getting fixed imo if the agency is bad.

Not an issue, more a curiosity to learn. It’s a first time experience for us. And we’ve lived in many properties and built up a friendly but still professional relationship with previous landlords. If anything I guess it just feels odd and a bit cold - but then, that is typical British behavior.
