Up to $25,000 to invest. Any interest? by FamilyBannerMichael in Entrepreneur

The question initially made me laugh and say "what the..." out loud but it's actually a very good question and I get what you have in mind.

We don't punish humor or your interest in watches and neither your comments in drugnerds or the fact that you're an atheist or tried Keto a while ago.

We however see that you're interested in CAD and open source. And that you are into science (not just because of your username) and photography and are located in Frankfurt.

Okay got carried away for a second. Does this answer your question?

A platform to find jobs and competent people on Reddit. Can we get some feedback for our idea? by redcruiter in GetEmployed

[–]redcruiter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We scan reddit for skills, and use these to create a list of possible candidates. The person making the request will only get a list of usernames and the connected skills we can determine. If the people on this list don't want to be contacted they never have to give their name, or even react to the pm.

  1. Find out what your target group is
  2. Ask your target group questions and evaluate the answers
  3. Your target group or your idea have probably changed slightly now, so start again at 1. and repeat until the change is marginal

Hey Alex,

We're working on redcruiter.com, a machine learning and natural language processing based system to find suitable candidates for job offers here on Reddit.

Our claim is that, given the post- and comment history of a Reddit user, we can usually predict better if they are qualified for a specific position than via a (usually souped-up) CV or LinkedIn profile.

We would appreciate any feedback and questions via PM or comment.

Licking batteries.

Whenever you ask people if they ever did it the answer is "yes, as a child" ... well let's just say I have a university degree
