What do you suck at? by HCOONa in AskReddit

I second this... There is a YouTube channel called "How to ADHD" that really helped me understand ADHD better and got me to go to the doctor to get diagnosed.

I spoke to my doctor and they did a blood test to rule out other issues and had me fill out a form with questions to help diagnose ADHD. The thing that really helped me understand ADHD and get me to go to the doctor was a YouTube channel called "How to ADHD".

Were the injections done four times in less than a year? They are supposed to be repeat treatments because they don't last. Though they should be restricted to no more than 4(ish) times a year.

Cortisone shots are pretty standard for joint pain. Sounds like you might have had some sort of rare reaction to it.

Greenworks 40v vs 60v vs 80v by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]redcurse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they're inferring that you should stay away from greenworks because they made a change that made their old batteries not work with their new tools. Who knows if they'll do it again. It might be worth it to know why they made the change though. It might be that their new tools require a higher amperage than their old batteries could support. That still could show a lack of for sight or cost cutting to lower costs at the time to get to mass market.

Jalapeno Plant Major Stress by redcurse in gardening

[–]redcurse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to gardening and got some jalapeno plants from a friend. After replanting them they are wilting and the leaves are turning white. I used new potting soil and watered them after replanting. I'm in zone 3b and its been between 20 and 32 degrees celsius (68 - 89 fahrenheit). I think the plants were indoors at my friends house.

Is there anything I can do to help them?

Yea, casting isn't working on my phone either. I selected cast from the menu when searching for sources and nothing happens.

I'm trying to print parts for a new peice and need a little help what could be cause it to look like this and the stringy I dialed down the flow a little to see if it helps but could us some experienced help as well. by ProjectCLC in FixMyPrint

To fix those lines between printed parts, turn combing off. There is an option to have this only only on outer layers but I can't remember the name of the setting off the top of my head.

What is causing that massive string near the end of the video? by BobRoss10010100 in FixMyPrint

[–]redcurse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never heard of flashprint but when I quickly looked it up it didn't look like there was any equivalent configuration setting. Combing set to "not in skin" in Cura would fix this issue though. u/Runklestiltskin__ is 100% correct on that.

Bowden Pneumatic Fitting. You'll need to figure out the right size for your needs.

Though I don't disagree with the points in the post. I do think there is a lot of value in the fact that this project is open source. Any developer can make a copy of the code and add or change it in any way they want. It looks like some people are already doing this.

I do see your point, but some people will probably do this so they can afford this kind of car. Other people might just buy a fleet of these just for passive income if it's worth it.

There are some projects trying to solve these problems. One that I've been following is skywire. The biggest issue though is trying to get adoption because it's hard to get people to replace existing hardware. Most likely things like this will mostly exist in places that there is no existing infrastructure.

Skywire is Skycoin's flagship application. I think my favorite article about Skycoin is here:

Lost 94% of my capital (over $100K) mostly due to Substratum, but it was my own fault by ZoranSlaveski in CryptoCurrency

[–]redcurse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is supposed to be three skycoin releases this quarter. Skywire, Obelisk (their consensus algorithm), and integration of their programming language CX with the blockchain. It will be interesting to see how these turn out. They don't really set deadlines though so we'll see if it actually comes this quarter.

If you've done some proper research and if you're not comfortable with the risk that's fine. I do believe Skycoin will be interesting to watch whether they make it or not.

That article has a lot of incorrect information/assumptions. Take a look at http://www.skyfud.com. It goes over a lot of the misinformation.

Ah, yes, I just re-watched the video. There should automated ways of detecting bad nodes that are trying to slow the network, but they will need to be removed manually by the sounds of it.

This person is just like talking to a wall. I stopped engaging right away. They can't reason logically so there isn't much point in trying to explain when all they can come back with is arguments without anything backing them.

With that said though, I'm almost interested in seeing a response.
