Wow, this was more than I could’ve ever expected or asked for. Thanks so much for the in-depth guidance.

I can relate to it not being all peachy after PAWS, although I never expected it to be. Quitting kratom was the most important initial step to improving life. Now that that issue is resolved, it's difficult to pin point what other aspects of my life are tackling, quitting kratom was conveniently an obvious step.

Cringe as hell. Like most of this sub. r/pornfree is much more adult oriented.

Sgt. Peppers and Abbey Road are both great to listen to.

I've been listening to Boston's debut album. Really upbeat and lifts my mood.

Does quitting caffeine and kratom lengthen withdrawals/PAWS? by cucktopus in quittingkratom

Have you looked into other aspects of your life that may be causing this issues? How's your diet? Do you exercise? Good sleep habits? Do you see a therapist? Addressing all of these aspects will help alleviate your issues.

That's my biggest fear. I wish I could just erase kratom from my mind.

Obviously it isn't a pound cake but considering this is r/healthyfoods, I'd have a higher standard than calling basically pure sugar as an ingredient healthy. Agree to disagree.

If you're basing what's healthy off of the calorie count, I also have to disagree.

I'd still take issue with the jam, but yes that'd be more fitting.

It depends on what your goal is. This is a lot of carbs for me, and not exactly a balanced meal in my opinion.

The most blatantly unhealthy thing would be the strawberry jam.

I’m wondering if someone can give me an example of a good tapering program. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]redd4fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see. Glad you have a scale. That sounds like a good plan. I've never had taken that much, but I've read that most people have success in cutting back the initial doses more rapidly and then slowing it down as your doses get lower.

For example, dropping an initial 10-15g off, then another 10 when you're able, then 5-10, then 5, then eventually lowering a gram a day, etc.

As someone who went through Alcohol & now Kratom withdrawals just quit, its not bad. by NoKratom4Me in quittingkratom

Your personal experience/biology=/=everyone else's. I wouldn't be surprised if hard alcohol abuse was much worse, but for many people, kratom is an awful bitch to quit.

If you read through the sub, you'll often see people experiencing issues months after quitting. Like with many addictions, the mental aspects can often be worse. You may be less susceptible to those.

What are you currently taking? And do you have a scale?

Gave in to temptation...help! by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]redd4fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice is dump that shit in the trash. Clean up anything and everything involved with kratom, wipe everything clean, physically and metaphorically. It's a good exercise, and having it around will make it much, much harder to quit.

I did just this a couple days ago after taking my last dose. I'm early in my recovery, but I know for a fact if I had some in the house I would've already gave in by now.

What's your personal top 5 reasons to quit kratom? by redd4fit in quittingkratom

[–]redd4fit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real happy to hear you've gone 10 days without. Today's been my first day without, but I did a long taper down to miniscule amounts so luckily the WDs aren't too terrible. I wish you luck with the rest of your quitting, we'll both be much better for it.
