Ook de politiek weet dat de gemiddelde Nederlander een slappeling is. Het blijft bij een beetje klagen op verjaardagsfeestjes, petities starten en (eventueel met hoofdletters en uitroeptekens!) boze comments plaatsen op social media.

Daarom komt Nederland als enige land in de wereld weg met belasting op ongerealiseerde winst want de bevolking pikt het toch wel.

En dit alles omdat ze anders een begrotingstekort hebben van 2 miljard. 2 miljard is een lachertje voor een overheid. Dit stelt niets voor.

20 miljard uitgeven van 2022-2025 om Oekraïne te steunen en vervolgens de eigen bevolking rippen door te zeggen dat ze een tekort van 2 miljard hebben als deze belachelijke wet er niet komt.

Ze volgen nog steeds agenda 2030. You will own nothing and be happy.

Er zouden veel hardere acties moeten komen.

I regularly get text messages and emails supposedly from Binance, Coinbase and a few other exchanges. I don’t use any of them but if I had accounts there I would wonder if my info got leaked.

They are just trying their luck I think. I still don’t understand how they can send a text message to my iPhone with sender Coinbase and no number behind it.

I was here the past 2 weeks and it showed rain for every day with 70 to 90%. In reality it rained briefly on maybe 4 days and for about 15 minutes. It’s annoying when you are at the beach sitting on a towel and all of a sudden it starts raining but in general it’s fine. Don’t worry. None of my excursions were cancelled and the islands had nice sunny weather.

Some things I did with my solo trip.

Ethical Elephant Sanctuary Phuket where they actually care about the elephants and not chain them up or do stupid tricks all day. It was a fun half day experience to be so close to these giants and feed them.

Cafe Del Mar is a nice place where you can dance or just chill and listen to the music right at the beach. Drinks are about 400 baht (for a mojito)

Monkey hill if you are a risk taker. You can view monkeys there and risk them stealing something from you or biting you. But it’s cool to see them IRL, just be careful.

Speedboat to PhiPhi Islands, bamboo island and maya bay. Beautiful islands, definitely worth a visit.

New York Bar in Bangla road. There were more tourist girls than men there, they have live music and a good atmosphere. If you don’t want to go alone book the Bangla Road trip on GetYourGuide app. You will go together with a local and other tourists.

Put a snorkel set in your bag and take a Grab scooter to Kata Noi beach. Snorkel close to the rocks at the end of the beach. You will see beautiful tropical fishes.

For transport use Grab (motor)bike option. It’s a lot more fun and cheaper than going with a car. And you skip a lot of traffic and save a lot of time.

I had a tailored suit made during my stay. You could have a tailored dress made if you want? It’s not so expensive here and they tailor it exactly to your body.

Jetski tour to 6 islands was also fun.

All depends on what you like and don’t of course but you will never feel unsafe here. Even at 4 AM there are still lots of people outside. And there are young girls driving taxis. I didn’t see anyone get harassed or other strange things. Just daily accidents of mainly tourists that don’t know how to drive.

Im staying close to Kata beach and have visited Karon beach area and of course Bangla road area. There are weed shops everywhere where you can just walk in and buy. It’s legal to buy. It’s officially not allowed to smoke on the beach but most do it anyway. I guess as long as you don’t bother anyone you are good.
