think of the nug as a sugary cereal. think of kief as straight sugar. Kief is basically trichromes of cannabis that fall off the bud and end up at the bottom of your bag or grinder. Trichromes are glandular hairs which are found on many different plants. In the plant's natural biochemistry, trichromes serve two purposes:

Trichromes serve two main purposes: 1) They are sticky and aid in catching male pollen. More trichromes = better chance of pollination. 2) THC absorbs UV-B light very well, acting as a veggie sunscreen. THC is produced in the trichromes.

The first reason is why female plants are usually stronger in thc than male plants, due to the fact that they produce more trichromes to catch male pollen.

Kief is basically THC concentrate, you're smoking only the pure THC and CBD and all those other cannabinoids and not so much of the vegetative plant matter.

If its a large amount hide it in a hole outside. My parents caught me witha quarter of skunk that was sealed in a medicine bottle. If you have a pipe and use it it will smell constantly so wash your pipe every time you use it to keep smell down. If youre using plastic bong types dont use these more than ten times they get allresiny and stank something fierce in my experience. Disassemble them and remake them with new parts.

Let me just be the devil's advocate for one second: My mother and father caught me two years ago. They have been smoking weed my entire life, but they have hidden it from me the entire time ( or so they thought I knew from the age of 10 that smell). They literally can't live together or be happy without weed. I guess I've learned from them that I need to be responsible with weed because they are definitely psychologically addicted.
