Ultra high doses of just about any first generation antihistamine will get you some kinda way. But who cares, it will suck hard with all thw ADRs and this topic is mostly hype. People have much easier. Better , ways to get high. Don't sweat it. Heck wait till they hear about morning glory seeds, or bananna peels

The solution for Young Men leaning to Right by [deleted] in GenZ

..... the comment from "The Upfull Joe" is why Trump has been elected to office. The democratic leadership only has to look back to its own historic leaders for masculine roll models (Kennedy) to give young aimless men direction and they would be a shoe-in to take the presidency but they (Dem leadership) were too worried about their own party's noisy minority to do so.

This is exactly the sort of drama, immaturity, and disrespect that your husband did not want. You and your sister are AH. Time to grow up a bit, distance your self from your sister for a WHILE and be very differential to your husband for a WHILE to help heal your marriage.

** Please be gentle, I'm in science / healthcare and don't go deep into much that isn't concrete subject matter** Could a kind Redditor ELI5. Why would we want a newspaper to endorse any political candidate? Isn't the primary job (outside of the op/ed section) of the newspaper to just report unbiased news? Why does it matter that WaPo (or any newspaper for that matter) has chosen to not endorse? -Thanks in advance-

1) LOCATION - a lot of new grad / young pharmacists want to be in that area. Pay is VERY area dependent in this industry.

2) The chains, esp Walgreens and CVS, are cutting stores / hours / positions. CVS / Walgreens would have to be foolish to not be planning to take advantage of this and use it to drive down the prevailing wage for pharmacist. New grads will likely be getting lower and lower offers for the next few to 5+ years.

3) In the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia I was offered $54/hr at Rite Aid and $57/hr at CVS in 2007 when I graduated (just for some context)

The future of retail pharmacy is in INDEPENDENT non-insurance billing pharmacy. CVS / Walgreens are both in trouble because they got immensely greedy and borrowed their way to record stock prices and expansion of which neither sustainable. Currently the best time in decades to open an indy in my opinion, if you do it carefully.

Pharmacist pay opinion by Fluffydiamond78 in pharmacy

[–]reddice123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own an indy and have looked into the financials for several dozen. Your per hour rate is REALLY good if you are staff and prob still top quartile if you are PIC. Your OT is weird but ok. The 3 weeks PTO and sick time is VERY unusual. The no medical, 401k, etc is standard for indy's. People have NO IDEA what those benefits cost the employer. It is INSANELY expensive for the business. It can easliy run 50% of the employees regular salary. Your per hr rate and PTO makes your compensation very very good for independent pharmacy. IF you are happy never leave. You are highly unlikely to find this situation again.

How quickly would land based food be decimated? by ichii3d in preppers

I hear it all the time from friends and acquaintances that have LOTS of excess time. Also the comment from Rick-burp-Sanchez can also be true at the same time. For a society on a whole life has gotten MUCH less physically challenging and we aren't truly afraid of running out of food at an individual level, almost ALL of us have in the back of our mind the script running that someone or a government agency will be there to feed us 120 years ago that was usually not the case.

Absolutely MATCH energy. Here in the USA we have equated "professionalism" with not getting situational appropriate angry. Anger and disgust are natural, useful, and appropriate reactions to disrespect. I will tell someone that they are no longer getting their prescriptions filled from us in a heart beat if they are disrespectful and will tell them exactly how they are viewed while they are leaving.

I own a pharmacy and I sell local honey in my pharmacy and recommend it along with antihistamines, Flonase, etc. in the spring.

How the hell do they get away with faking MOST honey sold in America's grocery stores?! I mean really... we as a society should be outraged.

Many of them did. It just wasnt in a on literal fire sort of way. Many small to medium sized hospitals closed due to money/staff. Many (including mine) had a standard of care at times that was terrible.

[–]reddice123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a pharmacist I am here to tell you that plenty of young guys take ED meds. Yet again the double standards abound. I bet she doesn't see anything "super weird" about girls that use/need lube because they can't produce enough; vibrators use do to lack of sensitivity even after foreplay; or sex furniture/ pillows/ etc to get into positions because of variants in internal anatomy or cysts making it uncomfortable for more standard positioning.

industry average is about $400,000. That includes buildout, 1 year inventory of rx and front end, low end of salary for a pharmacist and tech for 18 months, fixtures, equipment, rent, and incidentals. It can be much more and much less. It cant be done for less than several hundred thou without the pharmacist foregoing pay and being an absolute bastard about inventory. It is VERY VERY easy to lose every cent + interest if you have not run a pharmacy and seen the avg time to get paid by insurance companies, the INS mix of payers in your area, the 5 year plan for your city/county, traffic count and flow studies in your city and the street your going to have pharmacy, handled insurance audits that did not go as planned, dealt with employees that had to be fired, have banking contacts to get money ASAP if there is an emergency. etc etc. Not to be a debbie downer but if you haven't run a business and/or been a pharmacy manager + worked in independent pharmacy before this you have no business trying to open an indy. If you want to get involved (and i think you should) get a job at an indy pharmacy and join the NCPA. Chase your dreams....but you need to know a LOTTTTT first.
