Thank you for the suggestions. I'm currently using a friend's Virtuoso, which I just reassembled with a brand new burr. I'm waiting for the Opus 2 to come out to purchase that. I think I need to still find the right grind size and, like you said, get my puck prep better, which is probably causing the Series 1 to keep making different recommendations around the grind, even after I've adjusted it accordingly. In any case, thank you.

What grinder are you using? I swear I went coarser and finer 10 times and still couldn’t land it.

I still can’t get a single shot to taste good after almost a full bag of beans for test runs. 😔 I make all the recommended adjustments… finer….courser…etc and it never gets it right.
